There is no way anyone is running logic for a gameserver on the blockchain, even on icp. Canister update functions have a 2 second time to finality to propagate. (Basically add 2000ms to the “lag” of every player). You could have a database with all the assets stored on chain, which by itself is more than any other blockchain can do. but the server itself that interacts directly with player inputs (assuming were talking about multiplayer games) would have to use some sort of traditional IT infrastructure in order to be fast enough for the speed the majority of games require. Only bringing this up because i keep hearing people say that icp can run games 100% on chain but this is simply not true (unless your game can wait 2 seconds to resolve every input from players).

I'm a believer in ICP, and I own over 2000. There are so many reasons that ICP should be the strongest, most up-and-coming project in the crypto world. It should be up there with ETH, or at least ahead of SOL. BUT IT'S NOT!!!! It's languishing around $8 after going to nearly $20. Apparently, even with everything ICP has to offer, the crypto world isn't that interested. Hopefully, there's an unwritten "yet" after that last sentence. I'm not giving up on it, but I am definitely frustrated by ICP's lack of upward price action while I've been holding it, and waiting for it to do something, while I could have left that money in a better performing coin.
