@@xcaluhbration what im convinced on is that nobody (retail investors) cares about the tech until later on. what got me into xrp is that it’s use case is to serve as a liquidity pool for “all the money” in the world from real estate to all different forms of fiat currency, that is why so many coins exist. I owned over 3K tokens but had to sell all of it in the last half of ‘22 just because I needed the cash at that point. If not for that financial situation, I would be comfortable never selling. I like this guy’s content but bashing XRP isn’t necessary. These are both great utility tokens.

Unfortunately there is value in the use case of XRP and the partnerships Ripple has made throughout the financial industry. Technical ability alone does not secure partnerships. You are completely failing to realize XRPs growth is mainly due to speculation they will be entering a quadrillion dollars per year cross border transaction industry by taking a chunk of SWIFT’s business. ICP has zero intention of doing this. XRP’s value comes from the capability of the XRPL to easily convert currencies and transfer them across the world. It is also known as the most reliable ledger that has never been shut down, never slowed down, and never had a complete failure/hard fork, therefore adding to its status and capability of taking on a portion if not all cross border transactions. It was never meant to have a ton of transaction on ledger until it begins to facilitate cross border transactions because the XRPL is not designed specifically for degenerate NFTs or memecoins, it was designed to solve a global liquidity crisis, and it would have already if not for the SEC. Also, the SEC focusing specifically on Ripple/XRP was seen as proof they were trying to slow down its adoption as it is seen as a threat to the dollar by American intelligence agencies.

I hold both. You are comparing apples to oranges. Obviously XRP is and always has been a Psyop. More retailers were squeezed out during the lawsuit. Its the chosen banking coin and Ripple has over a 1,000 agreements and NDA's with banks and institutions to use this. It doesnt matter that ICP is faster, it doesnt have institutional adoption. I have hopes that it will partner or merge with ETH or BTC.

Jerry sorry you’re leaving key info out. The reason it hasn’t moved much the last 7 years was the SEC lawsuit. The use case is for institutions which have not fully adopted the tech. Yet ISO 20022 will be fully adopted year end 2025. I own both ICP and XRP. Unfortunately this will not age well for you.
