I love the way to do the cab. It works very well. And the car in total seems surprisingly sturdy. A very clever build. Lego could learn something. However... a true hotrod is a V8 and as such the engine itself should be twice as long... this is only a V4 hotrod... Besides, many older 32 era performance cars had long engine bays. On the other hand.. it does have a hood. Consider doing a version without a hood and with 8 cylinders instead of 4 and/or a version with a blower... this build could have a blower if the hood was omitted in favor of a lego blower/compressor brick.

I'm actually trying - Struggling as Lego Digital Designer (LDD) discontinued a number of pieces, and I don't know how to copy/place pieces in LDCAD - to build a vehicle that's basically; Monster Truck, meets Humvee, meets Hot Rod
