I'm going to guess that 60% of the money spent on a new S22 or new iPhone goes straight to the advertising budget. It's probably more like 80%. When I tried on the Vision Pro at my first Apple Vision Pro Walkthrough, it sold me. I have a powerful gaming PC that I’m sure you’d have much better use for, especially if you’re a gamer. I know you’re a gamer, but unfortunately, I don’t use my gaming PC much at all. I went to a Reddit forum where people sell PC parts, PCs, and camera equipment to see if anyone would be interested in buying my PC. Even if you know someone who’s in the market for a PC, it would mean the world to me if you replied to my message. I hope to use the money I make from selling this PC to buy a Vision Pro so I can watch movies, concerts, and my favorite TV shows, and experience Apple spatial computing 😊.

For such innovation of the internals, the outer display is shocking how easy it scratches & more so the cost to replace it. Surely it would be easier to make a detachable/customizable one if it's that easy to wreck it.
@weswes66610 ай бұрын
It's not really, it needs to be light, not having the eye bullshit at all would've been better

That would be too consumer friendly , then Apple wouldn't make as much money. You don't think they made a 3 Trillion $ company without being a bit evil do you?

HAH, and let them pass up the opportunity to charge you $200?? As if. Cool tech but I wish someone else did it
@anecro10 ай бұрын
Makes you wonder if Apple should've skipped the outside display altogether. The answer is an objective yes by the way. There is no reason whatsoever for that exist and they'd do much better without it. An outside display on a vr headset you cannot see is one of the dumbest additions to a vr headset I've ever seen, it eats up battery, adds weight, bulk and cost and is very easy to damage.
@merryjerry6910 ай бұрын
If you watch a drop test you will know exactly why the plastic is on the outside. Basically it keeps glass from going everywhere which is a better tradeoff than some scratches.
@GerardHennemannАй бұрын
I really wonder why they use plastic to laminate the glass. If it’s for drop resistance then why isn’t it done on phones as well? I tend to drop those more frequently than a device attached to my head with a head strap. Don’t get me wrong in wanting this for a phone because I don’t. This lets me remember the coating issue of the Mac book pro in 2013/2014. Scratches al over the screen just by wiping it with a soft cloth.

Trust in Jesus. Believe in Jesus! Run to Jesus! + (John 14:6 > Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.) + He is the One that shed His blood for all who believe in Him! There is no remission of sin without the shedding of blood, the blood of the Lamb! + If you have defected from God then read these Scriptures: (Lost Sheep, Luke 15:1-7 - Lost Coin, 15:8-10 - Lost Son, 15:11-32 - Rich Man and Lazarus, 16:19-31) Jesus is calling you back home, read His word, believe and repent. Saved by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone!. The world is racing toward "AMAGEDDON" !!! And people need to get right with the Lord! If you have not read the books of (Daniel chapters 7-12), (Ezekiel chapters 37-39) (Matthew chapters 24:1-51 + 25:1-30), (1 Thessalonians chapters 1-5), (2 Thessalonians chapters1-3) and (Revelation chapters 6-19), now would be a good time. They will explain a lot about what is going on right now! These books will cover the "Wars" about to come, the catching up / the blessed hope, World judgement, hence the Tribulation and the Great Tribulation / the tome of Jacob's trouble! These books will also be the most ominous and scary for the unbelievers and the most exciting and uplifting for those who believe in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior!... It is my hope and prayer that people would repent and believe on the Lord Jesus Christ before all these things take place, because it is going to be very, very scary if you do not and you decide to wait and see what happens! + All glory be to the Lord our God, Jesus Christ. Amen!
