It's brilliant isn't it, the sound never ages, drunk in Liverpool at 21 yrs of age with background music " Oh What a Night"! Managed to get home, somehow, now 69yrs but never forgot the memory! The Jersey Boys promoted the sound magnificently. Brilliant.

The 60s and early to mid 70s was in retrospect an extraordinary period for originality in music. Every great group in rock, pop, and R&B/soul from that era had a totally unique sound influenced of course by artists that came before but molded into something new and special. The four seasons was one great ones in the pop genre. Will anyone say that about the 2020s in the decades to come? I doubt it.

I watch Jersey boys when it first came out and I was impressed that they got together with the real cast and that they understood where they were coming from to make this movie as a big inspiration and it made me buy a lot of their music to hats off to the director and hats off to the original Frankie Valli and the four seasons and the other for gentlemen that was in this movie it was totally awesome.
