Jersey Coastguard Safety Identification Scheme (CSIS)

Jersey Coastguard offers a free identification scheme for all personal watercraft less than five metres long, such as kayaks, canoes, surf boards, rowing boats and stand-up paddle boards.
When you’ve registered, your unique ID number will help Jersey Coastguard to contact you if your craft is found and return it to you.
More importantly, if we know that you’re safe, we can avoid unnecessary search and rescue operations.
