So many young talents of the day. I don’t remember Jukebox Jury. I was only three years old in 1959. I do remember moving into our new house in December of that year though and many other things from 1959.

I never heard of this show until just now (Aprril 2020) Annette Funecello was an original mouseketeer and in many beach blanket bingo movies. She could also sing very well. She was a sweetheart. And died from MS. :-(

Wow! What a trip down American memory lane. All four were big in my day as a teen.

We didn't have a TV back then! How strange is it to see this now after all these years.

We were poor but somehow we always had a TV since about 1956. Didn't get a color TV until around 1967.

I was a member of the JukeBox Jury (Los Angeles, CA) audience when I was about ten-years old. (You had to be 12 or 13 to be in the audience. My mother told me I had to 'be quiet', 'be good' and 'act like an adult'!) I remember it being very hot, due to the klieg lights. I wore my pink-organdy Easter dress that night, and my it was hot...and itchy, but I evidently looked the part of being older. A sign saying, 'applause', was held up when they wanted audience reaction. Barbara Hale (Perry Mason) was the guest that night. Cannot remember the other panelists. I think that particular episode could have been before the shows syndication...maybe 1955 or so.

Where is the rest of the show? This is a great clip, I think Buddy Holly was on there in November, 1958.

This show is too short. It’s too bad when it started in the 50’s like this all the shows were less than 10 minutes long for the whole show. They leave out a lot of details. Later they were as long as half an hour which was a great improvement. The TV had just been invented in the 50’s so the TV sets were a lot smaller so they couldn’t handle longer shows
