❤it’s so ironic that the last live show he did in 85’, the last song he played was the exact same song Buddy Holly played and around 45 min to an hour give it take, he perished in the plane crash, oh and fyi, he wasn’t free basing it was the darn faulty heater that caught fire , and the heartbreaking true story when they found the plane,,,all aboard, were all burned to death, and Rick was identified and he had his wife or girlfriend beside him and he had his arms wrapped around her trying to keep her from burning alive!, idk, maybe it’s me but that’s so sad so that’s the truth!!!, I’m 43 and I always wanted to be Ozzie and Harriet’s third son!!, yep I grew up obsessed with the old fashioned shows, and even the Brady Bunch, heck I wanted to be a sibling with them too!, smh, oh how times “they are a changing”, this world we live in today has gone crazy, and I’ve got a weird feeling that mankind will end up killing every human being on this planet, and yes plz don’t laugh but The Terminator I pray that all this AI technology will end up possibly coming true!, with that said, I’m a true Christian and yes I 100% read my Bible, and who knows, maybe all the dead and living may vanish while I’m typing this!, but plz don’t take that wrong, I’ve got super adhd and asd, and imma trying and praying idk how many times a day ESPECIALLY since my dad got killed on September 5th, 2022, laid to rest on September 9, and September 10, is when I popped into this world!!, sorry for getting way off track!, God Bless ALL OF YOU!!!!, Ben❤

Oh and yes I’ve been a Rick Nelson fan and the show If I had a “FLUX CAPASSITER “ I spelled that wrong I think, but ur darn right I’d go straight to 1955 in a blink of an eye!!, this would had gone mad, smh, everyone plz plz be safe and enjoy every second we have on this world and remember that you never know, that an insane or evil killer could break my door down and blow my head off, and that’s why I’d be ready, I carry too, and thank God for our Constitution!!, forget the firearm bill crap and focus on MENTAL HEALTH!!!, guns do not kill people, the person whomever it may be, could not be on meds, or on meds, but my Lord!, like Elvis Presley sang, A LITTLE LESS CONVERSATION A LITTLE MORE ACTION PLEASE “, help the mental ill patients PLEASE!!,

Him and others were all taken for granted. There was a new sensation every week back then. Looking back it's pretty incredible the amount of talent that came from that generation. Especially when you see just how in short supply it is nowadays. I don't think people realize just how influential music is in a society. It's almost subliminal the way it affects people, good or bad as we see today in the rise in violence and disrespect of women and law enforcement, sadly it was a passing time that may never be able to rise up again.

+Fathima Hussain Not actually. What I mean is that he'd sing on The Ozzie and Harriet Show. That was the show he'd been in since he was a kid. When he started singing, every week the show would end with Ricky singing to a small audience in his home (the shows were actually filmed in the Nelson home). You can get the video that was released by his kids after he died. It's called Ricky Nelson Sings and it's lots of those "after-the-show" performances. You can get it on Amazon. Anyway, I used to look forward to those Thursday nights.
