Jesper Kyd is not only one of my favorite musical composers/musicians of all time, he is an inspiration mine when it comes down to making music. This soundtrack is one of many soundtracks I've heard that made me want to go make my own music

Didn't Jesper Kyd compose the soundtrack for The Adventures of Batman And Robin?

@@coppergamer2.073 he did. He was literally the only guy outside of Japan that knew how to use the Genesis/MegaDrive sound chips!

I could go on and on about his work. I listen to many of his OSTs regularly. It's especially neat to hear tracks like these and the Batman & Robin ones through decent car speakers. Driving alone at night with this music is just about a spiritual experience for me haha

@@vileCR999 You should go and listen to the Time Trax soundtrack - while it's true that a lot of Western-developed MegaDrive games don't sound too good, there are definitely exceptions besides Jesper Kyd!

This dude was a magician with the YM2612. I've never heard anyone able to produce sounds like this on the Genesis, especially not Western developers.
This is the kind of stuff I am proud to have on my playlistso then people ask me what weird music I listen do I can put up this on my mobile, almost anywhere 😎🤙🏼

it is also real cool that if I put my phone around into full-screen mode, it look real real trippy holding frequencies like that

By God, already I can say that this first song undeniably has some of the best samples the Mega Drive had to offer, period. You think you'll probably end up doing the rest of your "On Hold" tracks before opening up the request list again? I would really love to see the "All Martin Galway SIDs" video get made. I would really like to go on a tangent about how much of an influence Galway has on me, my projects, and my style as a whole now, but I gotta keep this comment short and readable. Again, thanks for all the hard work you do Acro.

All of the requests I have on hold at the moment (besides the Martin Galway one) don’t have proper audio rips, which makes creating the visualization harder. I’ll probably open requests again once all of the requests on my main list have been completed.

When I was playing this as a kid, I remember it being tough as balls and disliking it. (still powered through because I'm a stubborn shit when I want to be). The music definitely stuck out in my mind however even then. I have rips on my playlists to this day.
