We really are lucky to have the Jessama team presenting tutorials that are clear, concise, and imaginative. And as always, you provide numerous tips and new ideas on ways to use PC. I especially enjoyed watching you use the Kor roller and (gasp!) never thought of tinting metallic clay with alcohol inks to get a broader range of mica shifts. Bravo!

Hi Samantha.would you please show us how you make it thick like this and how you sand it perfectly?

I place multiple layers of clay on top of one another to get the thickness. I have a great how to sand video right here. kzbin.info/www/bejne/qXbcdqamr9qCprc

@@JessamaTutorials thank you so much for responding and for sharing your videos. I will watch them right now. I wasn't saying that your instructions are hard. I just needed extra help. Everyone learns differently and not in the same pace. It seems as though some of your followers took it the wrong way. I'm in love with your pieces. If it's ok with you I would love to learn from you. Thank you. Have a great day and stay safe.

Beautiful! Do you have a tutorial on how you made that cabochon?
@JessamaTutorials6 жыл бұрын
Sadly, I did record that part of the tutorial, but it got corrupted and so I had to delete it from the tutorial

Can you please do another tutorial showing how you get the cabochon made? I am new to polymer clay and it would be a great help. Thank you Jessama :)

Very pretty! Fascinating how the roller pattern did not “roll out” to lose the pattern. I do have one question though. How did you connect the two pieces together? Was your cutter half on one side and half on the other?

Samantha, lots of great information in this tutorial! I love being able to expand the range of mica clay colors. How saturated a color can you get when tinting pearl clay? Thanks!
@JessamaTutorials6 жыл бұрын
You can get a pretty saturated color using this technique, but it requires quite a bit of alcohol ink.

My clay gets too sticky and sometimes sticks in the pasta machine. Am I overworking my clay? I amusing Sculpy. Do you have a video explaining the different qualities of different types of clay or troubleshooting?
@JessamaTutorials6 жыл бұрын
Are you using Premo Sculpey or Sculpey 3?
@carla84785 жыл бұрын
Sculpey 3 is much stickier, Premo is a better clay

Hello samantha, again this is a wonderful video ! Thank you so much. I wonder how you can achieve a Mica shift effect with those clays : aren't they Premo Accents pearl white and silver ? But do they contain mica ? Maybe the silver one, but the white one ? And do you know whether it is possible to add mica powder to a clay which doesn't contain any mica glitters ? Thank you very much for your answer, Samantha ! Kind thoughts from France.
@JessamaTutorials5 жыл бұрын
You can create a mica shift with the pearl white and silver. You can also add mica powders to clay to create mica clay. You'll need a lot though.

Hi, I have just a question: can I use the acrilyc paint to make this effect?
@JessamaTutorials5 жыл бұрын
I don't think acrylic paint will make the same effect. You can try though. It would come out looking cool anyway.
