I've been a boxing fan since the 70's. I got much love for Piquin, for BAM BAM, for Jesse James, and even had it for Tony before he ruined everything. I support all our local talent. But I have never been as excited for a fighter like I am for Bam. Bam is a special talent. If he puts the work in and he manages his career correctly, he can decide how big he wants to become. Hey Bam, this old boxing head hopes to see you live soon. I was also wondering if Bam knew that John Michael Johnson's nickname was BAM BAM, when he started using the handle. We called him Flaco back in high school, but his ring name was Bam Bam. Shout out to my boy if he comes across this.

I can agree with that perspective. I believe his skill was just very high level and that's what made him a great fighter. If he doesnt get cut against Antonio DeMarco and if Loma doesn't catch him to the body in their fight I think we're viewing him differently.
