i like the switch that the numark comes with it gives you a different style of cutting compared to the traditional fader. but ima get one of those jesse deans to compare both styles on the pto1.

I didn't mind the switch all that much. Look into a new company called Reck.LA on Instagram They make an interesting clip that helps with the cut time on the switch.

probably wont be for a really long time, the fact that pt 01 scratch even came out was a game changer in itself so they will probably ride that wave for a while. portablism is niche culture of an already niche culture which doesnt translate well for sale.

Numark told me they are done with this "project" as of right now. Didn't feel like they would be picking it up for new model anytime soon

You can.. You just have to cut out some plastic on the inside.

Awsome, I really like the idea of the all in one unit, no need for an extra speaker and fader box to carry... Does your pt01 have any stabilisers under the platter or is that clip keeping the needle steady? I tried a standard pt01 but it skipped something fierce with the mildest of scratches.
