Cool that it's plug and play with the OG JDDX2RS. Interesting to see that this got to market before reck.la's project with innofader, unless he was collabing with Jesse Dean. Glad to see a contactless fader that fits perfect.

Just when I was thinking that I wished there was a contact less fader that just fit right in the pt01 scratch. I can already see the awesomeness going from the scratch switch to the jddx2rsa. Just like when I first modded my pcv fader...but better. Thanks a bunch for showing me this swift!

Stanley N. You can adjust the Magneto too from the inside. I think that JD adjustment screws are kind of useless cause we usually adjust the fader once 🤷‍♀️

@@ichinoize3978 just finished installing the jddx2rsa.....I don't like it. It's too nice. Also, too smooth with a ridiculously sharp cut. I think I just got too used to the switch lol. Had to set a huge gap on the end for my cut in point.

How would you go about diagnosing the fader popping ? I have a Pioneer DJM 600 with the Mini Innofader DJM installed, it pops on the right side, not loud but enough to notice. Any advice on how to go about rectifying this would be greatly appreciated. ✌️

I installed my fader and for some reason the audio is backwards, it cuts on when the fader is all the way to the left or all the way to the right and it cuts off when moved inwards, can anyone help?

Yes Swiftstyle luvin you're chanel man,need some advice if you don't mind,what are the pro's and cons of having the fader open at both ends,I'm still getting used to my new jesse dean fader from the original scratch switch and would appreciate you're advice man👊

There is no advantage to having the fader cut on both sides unless you are trying to learn regular and hamster cuts. If you are just learning I would highly recommend cutting off one side. Some people do this transforming scratch by hitting both sides of the fader while running through the sound but IMO it's​ a cheap way to sound like a complicated scratch.

I just installed my new Jesse Dean contactless fader 🎚 exactly as the instructions and I hear Audible popping sounds on this fader 😫☹️

Ovenpaa A.W.S.M. I didn’t , I got so frustrated I was about to throw it out and go buy a Spin Portable Turntable, I’m going to try contact Jesse Dean Designs for support first but I think they probably shipped out a bad batch of faders, it definitely wasn’t doing that before, maybe they can send us a working replacement?

@@mago777 I think your right. It's a bad batch. Some other dude is having the same problem and there is a reply from portablismgear and they had a issue with a mod build I think. A replacement solved the issue. Ive got mine from portablismgear and I'm waiting a reply from them. You should contact the seller.

just got my fader today probably a simple fix but whenever I put the fader to the side to cut out the audio I hear a popping sound the audio doesn't play but its a loud popping sound pretty annoying if anyone knows the solution

Bro is my normal I guess the first Jesse dean contactless fader not the adjustable one from exterior it’s silent on both ends is that how it should be their sound in the middle but on both sides it cuts off very sharp to silent on both sides SO THAT IS INSTALLED CORRECTLY,I HAVE THE UPGRADED FADER U CAN ADJUST WITH INCLUDED TONE ARM I JUST WANTED TO SEE IF I COULD INSTALL IT CORRECTLY.AND IF BOTH SIDES SHOULDNT BE BARELY SILENT WHAT DID I DO WRONG IM NOT YELLING LOL IM LAZYB I HOPE I INSTALLED RIGHT

Dope cuts! I like how you can remove cut-off on the other side. Not uncommon for me to accidentally cut out the sound on the opposite side due to old habits from traditional gear.
