How is the cut in distance on it? My main complaint about the raiden fader is that the cut in distance is almost 1/4"

im not necessarily concerned about portability, but the most budget yet decent option to get into scratching. between something like this or a mixer you know of out there, any suggestions? mainly scratching for production at this point, to add to tracks. id prefer to not break $100 but that can be unrealistic.

good question well i would say if you want to stay under 300.00 dollars which would be a more realistic investment total the numark pt01 and a jesse dean fader would be a good option or now numark came out with its pt01 scratch which has a built in scratch toggle switch that looks cool and ill be doing a review video on that as well that is going for 129.99 so there are some options for you ...

just got mine too, was really disappointed of the raiden... just recognized "click" sounds right at the cut off position. did you have the same issue? thx!

no i don't get that sound try cleaning off the contact rails on the circuit board with rubbing alcohol this might help

Is there a crossfader hamster reverse switch or would I have to manually flip the fader?

yo it cuts out on both sides so if you want to cut hamster just slide the fader to the side you cut on

no the fader cuts off on both sides so you will be fine

Thank you for the review. I was eyeing the Raiden Innofader but this was recommended to me especially since I would like to be able to cut both sides. I believe it should work with DVS but looking if anyone can confirm that.

nice vid man! im getting some crusty sounds while cutting my jesse dean fader and only have a good few hours on it. tried cleaning with deoxit and helped a bit but still there. any suggestions??

this seems to be the only issue with the jesse dean fader the audio does get a bit crunchy after some use.. try cleaning it with just some rubbing alcohol let it dry and you should be good to go

this was posted years ago ... there are so many other options out now ... if your getting into portable scratching my advice is to look at getting a unmark pt01 scratch and replace the scratch switch with an internal fader ... my fader is called the pulse its a direct plug and play non contact fader ... check it out at www.124c.org

Any idea how many cycles this fader is rated for? I was debating on getting this fader or waiting for the new raiden fader to become available for pre-orders again.

well as of today being 8/3/16 i just got an email saying the new innofader/raiden fader won't be sent out til mid september 2016 for the first pre order . the jesse dean fader is super dope it does need to be cleaned quite a bit being that the audio will get a bit crunchy if you want to get cutting right now id say go jesse dean . in my opinion id say the raider/inno colab would have a few more features being that it is self powered rechargeable lithium ion battery . this will actually in crease the volume coming out of your headphones. its also a non contact fader so no crunchy sound. it has curve control plus more features.... if you don't mind waiting than the innofader /raiden would be the one to go with ...
