He’s not Pastor. According to the Elders at Trinity Bible Church of Dallas, Steve Lawson was not a pastor, nor was he elder at Trinity Bible Church. He wasn’t even a member of that church, nor of ANY Church. This means he will not face any church discipline. Notably, the original announcement from Trinity reads, “The elders at Trinity Bible Church of Dallas regretfully announce that effective immediately, Steven J. Lawson has been removed indefinitely from all ministry activities at Trinity Bible Church of Dallas.” 

Notice that while he was removed indefinitely from all ministry activities, he wasn’t removed from a position. He was removed from all ministry activities, but he wasn’t removed from being an elder or pastor. Steve Lawson didn’t want to be a pastor. So, they honored his wishes, and he was just a guest preacher, otherwise known as the “Lead Preacher”. That said, he was a guest teacher at Ligonier and Trinity Bible Church.” This is problematic in and of itself - he doesn’t fall under Matthew 18, because he’s not a member, elder, or pastor, and the hosts suggest the church has no ability to hold him accountable.

I suppose "mark and avoid" means Copy and Paste, so all can know and see. Its a Personal statement. When someone has a different doctrine then us to mark (make note to self) and avoid them (walk away, dust off your feet). So, in this Truth, we don't need to debate or Argue. because not only can I not get you to See Truth, but their is no need to call anyone out because you know its God who is the only one who can get them to see it. We are to Give the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Because that's the Only Name under heaven that gets the Truth sent that leads our faith away from ourselves and given to God. Not my words nor my knowledge can do this. When God said mark and avoid, Mark and Avoid. Don't proclaim and announce. because if God does not want us to hear something, your sure not helping that now are you? I'm not hounding you, Every religion does this, and justifies it with mis interpreted scripture. Like this verse here. "Mark, like God did Cain (outside the image of God) and avoid them. Not killing, or hurting, or judging. Out of Mind out of sight.. Instead we think it Gods command to label and call out and fight and debate with.. Crazy!!
