They’re always telling Kelly that she talks too fast and to tone it down and for the first time up you can tell she was happy another person engages the same way and is unapologetic about it.

You wake up anxious and can’t fall asleep because you’re mind won’t shut off because you’re over thinking and analyzing all the things you did that day and preparing yourself for all scenarios that might happen tomorrow. It’s on loop because you already thought up what to be anxious about the night before.

My entire family was affected by WWII. My uncle was a Holocaust survivor and lost his mother during a Nazi raid when he was only 14. He was rescued by Irena Sendler in Warsaw. I attended the movie festival in Krakow where Jesse was promoting his directorial debut in 2023; can't forgive myself I didn't somehow share my uncle's story with him. Not only it could be useful in Real Pain, but also just keeping the memory about these events alive is so vital.

I watched this movie and it's definitely one of the best movies I've seen in a long time. Jesse did amazing with directing it and both Jesse and Kieran played their roles so well. I like that they showed Poland from different perspectives - big cities and villages - more movies should have this ballance. I recommend watching this movie!!!
