I just went to joanns and bought 8 things of beads some were in those plastic container and some just in a plastic wrapping, I was so excited about them I didn't realize they were Jesse James beads, but they were on clearance from 12.99 to 4.97 and an extra 25% off and other coupons. I spent a total of 82 something and only spent 41 something.. all these findings were mixed in... I now know what my first bead box is going to be..

Thanks so much for checking. I was going back and forth if this was a special box with bigger value. I don't have many specialty beads or Jesse James beads, so I didn't really know the value. My stash consists of seed beads, firepolish and swarovski. All bead weaving and no stringing. But I am getting a little bit more on the stringing inspiration with all these new subscription boxes. It's a nice way to built up a different kind of stash. Thanks for all you do, and helping me and many others decide what boxes we want for ourself. :)

Hi Gina. Yes if you do not get the monthly box subscription they are that expensive but I noticed sometimes they sell leftover boxes at a reduced price depending on the sale that is going on. I am new to the monthly box subscription but have been collecting their bead strands for a few years that I sometimes purchase from Joanne’s store near me in California. Also although the new yrs box was FULL of goodies my November box had almost just a many items except I think the usual is two of their chain strands, not the 5 we got in December box. One thing I noticed is it doesn’t seem like there are very many tutorials on their website so this may be a great opportunity for you to do some. I know I would LOVE if you were to do so!! I just checked their site, and that's a $70 box!?! It was a special December countdown thingy; fun, yes....but $70? Seems a bit much. A LOT of fun stuff, I agree with you, but I've seen tons of Jesse James products on heavy markdown in craft stores and feel like this is way overpriced. Just my opinion of course. Certainly there are folks that love subscriptions regardless, or those who don't have access to craft shops nearby, don't have transportation, etc. so they rely on subscrtions and on line ordering/delivery. I get it. Absolutely nothing wrong with that and for sure I agree that this is a great box for someone with an established collection of all the other necessary bits to create a fully functional piece of jewelry, but to be fair I would like to see one of their regular monthly boxes reviewed because even that price (again based on the website) seems high when there are so many other subscriptions available for less. Hope to see another review on this brand next month. By the way, YOU are amazing! You are so informative and honest with your thoughts. I think the items are not worth the cost of the box. There are other subscription box that offer nicer items for less money. This is not a box I would purchase. Very disappointed

Their stuff isn't my style, but this looks like a very generous and high-quality box. Those strands would be especially useful for newbies without much of a stash built up. Thanks for sharing!
