I know very little about motorbikes but a friend of my son, who works on bikes here in Australia, suggested I make sissy bars. Thank you for making this video, it has given me some insight into the process. I would imagine that the methods of attachment varies from one bike to another, but the design possibilities are endless. Cheers brother!

I’m a millwright, and I love fabrication. Thank you for inspiring me 20 years ago to build things. I make my living today because of that, and I love every second of it. Even the shit times. Beats getting blown up in Iraq or Afghanistan, although I miss that too. Anyways thanks Jesse for the inspiration.

I got to meet him at English town raceway park during Toyota super nationals I was working fire/ems and want to talk to him and see if he needed anything while he was there with Alexis DeJoria and how she was doing. He basically was an A-hole me and told me to go away and leave them alone, and was just a jerk. I like his work and what not but man when someone is making sure you good, if you need anything and to see how your girl is doing after putting her car in the nets have some decency.

Ok, you lost me at the whole “buy a $400 piece from an old Triumph.” Lemme think on the 8 hours of shop time at $150/hr, the $12,000 in equipment used. And then I have a 20lb grab bar instead of a 2lb piece that’s twice the strength. If you’re doing this for the hobby, for the glam of having a JJ farkle, that’s one thing. But it’s not superior to a factory made part.
