Jesse is such a gem. I love the note/chord progressions he'd choose in the solo with the mic play on top of it.. 70s funk/rock/psychedic shit lol, showing his age and experience w that. Takes me like 3 punch ins recording to do tryna fit it into the solo lmao

Son of Sound he's always compared to prince. Prince had his own style.
@ErnieIsleysabeast7 жыл бұрын
Michelle 777 prince took a lot of his style from jesse tho. He has his own style yes i agree. Prince is prettier with alot of flash and efrects while jesse is blisteeing skill,speed and insanity lol
@Chanel8-i1n7n7 жыл бұрын
Son of Sound many would disagree as jess was looking more like prince in the 80s with style of dress hair music. But they both like little Richard facial hair. Both loved purple. Both are talented. But you will have the comments prince better than jess. Etc.
@ErnieIsleysabeast7 жыл бұрын
Michelle 777 that's nonsensw. Anyone in the know, knows who really influenced who. Prince started to mimic jesse, EVERYONE in the time told stories. When Prince first saw Jesse he said "i like how u look i dont even need to hear u play" prince started wearing purple because jesses color was pink, prince curled his hair because jesse had a curly fro, prince started side stepping in his guitart routine because of him watching jesse in time rehearsals. Ive literally talked to people who came up with them all and worked with them and morris has given countless interviews so have a dre cymone ,jellybean ,jerome jam n lewis. Prince was fucking scared of jesse on guitar. He terrified prince. Prince started imitating shit jesse was doing in the early 90s in 2012. Jesse in 87 was a more skilled guitarist than prince ever was. No musician or guitar player who knows anything will tell u prince was ever even remotely close to jesse outside of rhythm guitar. I play and its laughable. Prince uses better effects and variations yes, but thats all.prince used to sabotage the time shows because they used to upstage him and play his stuff better than him rofl go meet some people who know both and who play and go listen to interviews. Prince is the greatest musician weve ever know, but as far as guitar he was jesses bitch.

@inspectorbudget5 жыл бұрын
@Tory ShayeMeaning guitar wise not overall talent. It's well documented & known that Prince had high admiration for Jesse's guitar skills. He often said Jesse scared him competitively. He would always warn Wendy in rehearsals to be ready or Jesse would "cut" her.
