By the time Trump got into office and up until last year I never broke $50,000 a year. I shopped a lot at the $.99 store in the dollar store both were doing fine under the evil reign of Obama but under Joe Biden the $.99 store closed down, all of them! That tells you the kind of an economy that Biden brought us. I was able to buy a lot of cheap food there, canned goods and fresh vegetables when you can pick up a head of cabbage or lettuce for a dollar or a can or two of green beans for $.99 or a quart of milk or a loaf of bread that made a big differenceand then it shut down. That definitely hurt my pocketbook and I learned to do without some things.

In a small Southern town, there lived a man named Jesse Lee. Jesse was known for his fiery speeches and vocal opinions about race. He spent his days railing against what he perceived as the failures of other racial groups, often forgetting his own heritage. He prided himself on being a self-appointed guardian of his community’s values. One sweltering afternoon, Jesse decided to take a stroll through the town square. As he walked past the barbershop, he overheard a group of men discussing a new family that had moved into the neighborhood. They were from a different background, and Jesse couldn’t resist chiming in. “Not like they’ll fit in here,” he sneered, ignoring the looks from his neighbors who knew his history. He went on to voice his opinions loudly, weaving tales of how outsiders had disrupted the fabric of their community. Later that day, Jesse decided to visit his old friend, Mr. Thompson, who owned the local diner. As they sat together, sipping sweet tea, Jesse continued his rants. But Mr. Thompson, a kind and patient man, finally interjected. “Jesse, don’t you remember who you are?” he asked gently. Jesse bristled. “What do you mean? I know exactly who I am.” “You seem to forget that we all share this space together, regardless of our backgrounds,” Mr. Thompson replied. “You’ve been so caught up in your own views that you’ve lost sight of the bigger picture.” Jesse scoffed, but deep down, the words lingered. As he walked home, a sudden realization hit him. He stopped in his tracks, looking at his reflection in a store window. The man staring back was undeniably black-his own skin, his own history, forgotten in the heat of anger. That night, Jesse lay awake, turning Mr. Thompson's words over in his mind. It struck him how he had built walls around himself, fearing the differences he had once embraced. He remembered his grandmother’s stories of resilience, the struggles their family had faced, and how they had thrived in a world that often sought to divide them. The next day, Jesse decided to change his approach. Instead of spreading division, he sought to engage. He began reaching out to the new family, inviting them to community events, and learning their story. With each interaction, he found common ground-shared hopes, dreams, and challenges. Over time, Jesse’s heart softened, and his perspective shifted. He realized that embracing diversity only strengthened the fabric of his community. The very thing he had feared became a source of pride and unity. Through his journey, Jesse discovered not just the importance of understanding others, but also a deeper understanding of himself. He learned that true strength lies not in division, but in connection, and that acknowledging his identity was key to fostering a brighter future for all.
