I so hope he'll have solid season. He'll be fan favorite fast, so likeable and hard worker. Bison King shirts will be hot ticket.

Dude spent the whole summer working and then spent the last two weeks strong arming his way onto the 3rd line. I think this dude is about to have a season.

I really hope they start the year with him, Eller, and Rutger on the third line.

Rutger should go to Wilkes for a little while… learn the system and better his game. If the squad was hurting for starters like in past years, sure, play him… but there’s so much to look at, and we know he will be in before long. Give other guys a look while he is honing his skill set, to see what we want to/can do with other players eating away at cap space who may not be necessary. Nothing but upside to the entire situation. We have a couple SOLID guys that we can get the 9 game ticket on, to evaluate so we might as well…. For the first time in a long time I feel GOOD about the roster “issues…”

Great guy and an immense talent. Would love to see him get a shot with Sid and Rusty. I could see him exploding in that scenario. Appears he grew up a lot and got his priorities straight after the injury. Teaming on the 3rd with Lars and RM would be amazing too and could be the best third line in hockey.

I like the fact that he works so hard with a smile on his face. He's done a lot of good things and he is around others when they are doing good things.

Thrilled for Puljujarvi's success in training camp. You can tell that he spent the off-season working hard. Hoping he solidified his spot next to Eller last night because the two of them really look like they've built something special to capitalize on during the season.

@@Musso8771 If I was coaching I'd start him with Sid in game one. Could see JP erupting given the right circumstances. Always been a huge underachiever since entering the NHL. Seems more mature/focused now.

I have loved his acquisition since day one. SO glad he is in form. Could be a serious producer. Even if he and Ricky only fulfill 36-43% of their actual potential this season… that’s at least 40 goals between… 🤷‍♂️

@@davidknight1973 he played last year, what he could. Sully would be a fool not to play him… PERFECT example tonight… uh… HOW many points did that line produce?? Puljs and Eller are GREAT line mates….. though in reality.. Eller has actually shown the f UP in a penguins jersey and has been a regular chance-producer, no matter who he is playing with.… as consistently as you could want a veteran 3rd-4th line C to be… Was crossing my fingers every time I heard about them shopping him…. The Eller situation (to me) is actually somewhat similar to the Jussi Jokinen impact…it was there, and somewhat under appreciated…. I always loved Joki on the squad, and there was definitely a noticeable (though not catastrophic) drop off in production between a handful of players after he got dealt. Coincidence?? …… I don’t think so.
