Jessy Rae is the same person who wrote 'Inside Outside' for the American Soul Funk group 'Odyssey' which hit the British charts in 1982. Wonders will never cease.

Who would have thought TK Records of all labels would release this record in the U.S. (on its Bold imprint). It's one of the cool and unique records I've heard in my lifetime.

So good..interesting to see Jesse before he took to full time mask wearing and romano/celtic dress.

+Valentino Fleischpeitsche It seems like the VCR is having problems. Normally it's not anywhere like this.

If anything, the video glitches make this even more 80's! Not Jesse's best work but he was young and mask-less so he's forgiven!

The lyrics to this are very funny. On the one hand, the protagonist says, "i'll be a good boy i'll be an honourable man and do you right". But on the other hand he's constantly thinking, "i just want to fuck your lights out and totally ruin you". Class.

Thanks so much for posting this. I had recorded it myself (Dec 1979) and the tape was at the end and so it only got the first 40 seconds or so. Mine was also from HBO's "Video Jukebox" before it was its own show. I always had a thing for the girl in red, anyone know who she is?

I wish I had a better copy of it for you but this thing is glitchy as heck.
