Yes, this is Traci. I was 13 yrs old when that video was made, and now I am 46 yrs old. LoL! It was indeed a strange idea. Jesse Rae recruited me in a subway station. He let me listen to the song on his walkman, and this was my first time using one. I loved it immediately, and begged permission from my mother to do the project. Jesse Rae was obviously a trailblazer.

Did you continue your career in ballet, and did you perform in other music videos?I remember watching this video back in the early 80's on Channel 69,a local Atlanta video station.I didn't realize that the late, great Bernie Worrell played on this track.

Traci, please, when you get a chance, please read my comment that I made about finding this video after 33 years! And I agree: you're a fantastic dancer! I think KZbin is a true treasure-trove!

Such a trippy song and deff a trippy video!!!! I remember my parents had this album, and telling me how I was named after Jesse Rae (I'm Jessica Rae, lol)... I don't recall the song at all, but its a really cool vibe! Thankful that gems like this can still be found on the internets!

I'm so amazed that I found this . . . after over 33 years! The first time and only other time I heard/watched this was on Showtime when they used to play music videos sometimes between their movies. I never was able to find this, earlier. Then, tonight, when I was watching another video (that I saw not only on Showtime first but MTV later), a memory trigger happened about this. KZbin is fantastic.

Thank you 1000x for this. Beautiful. Love and have the record but hadn't seen the video since 80s club days and thought maybe I'd dreamt it. A delicate pink ballerina flits amongst hard groovin' komrades in olive drab...priceless!

The man is a genius... it cannot be disputed! This has a very European sound. I should have Googled it first, but I wonder how this track did in France compared to UK? Jesse Rae should be better known... perhaps he didn't want to be? 🏆
