Romancing SaGa 2, out of the whole series, is the game I would say is the most Dragon Quest like. It's still fairly non-linear but it is more linear than 1 and 3. Though less linear than SaGa Frontier 2, which I actually think Jesse would enjoy a lot if he hasn't played it yet. Maybe we will get a nice remake or remaster of that.

They should release Metroid Prime 2 and 3 on switch too. Some of us haven't played those.

They will probably do that in the future. The thing with MP 2 and 3 is thst they were developed in old Unreal 3 engine, unlike the in-house engine for the og Metroid Prime. So that will take more time and resources than the latter title, but t is still possible.

What's wild to me is that for the past 20 years, everyone is CONSTANTLY like, "Eh. Nintendo. Not really my thing but I'll take a look." then they get blasted with everything they love. And you think that'd change their opinion the next go-around. But, six months later, they return to the, "Eh. Nintendo. Not really my thing but I'll take a look." It happens every time. I first noticed this with the Wii U when Nintendo kept releasing all these baller games and people kept going, "Ugh, the Wii U has NO good games except this one they just announced! I'm not going to buy it for ONE game!" except those same people said that EXACT thing 20 times within 2 years.

More substantially, Eiji Aonuma (the producer of the franchise) has said he "doesn't know that those (CD-i Zelda games) really fit in the 'Zelda' franchise" (he even laughed a bit before that statement).

this Direct was batshit crazy, Nintendo continues to farm Ws, only their legal department can be the ones farming Ls, Nintendo itself just wins. i feel sorry for anybody who invested in this Gen's overpriced paperweights, AKA PS5 and Xbox 5 or wtfever they call it. PC is master race with Nintendo offering a more affordable gaming option.
