Hey JC LOVING this so far and 100% want more but wanted to mention a few things 1) Gadabout is nearly USELESS, it has a MINOR use later but its NOT worth it imo unless of course his antics entertain you enough. Basically it IS a "Magikarp" -> "Gyrados" but EVERY class can become "Gyrados" it just requires an item to do so, which is in a dungeon slightly north of the same place that allows you to "evolve", only reason for leveling a gadabout is if you want TWO Gyrados (eventually 3 but thats pretty late)...id recommend evolving Twigs into a "Gyrados" 2) if you opt to KEEP crendor "evolving" him into a merchant or thief can at least make use of his absurd luck stat but his stats will still be pretty terrible so id still highly recommend dumping him regardless (thief/merchant abilities explained shortly) 3) I'd HIGHLY recommend getting a thief (replace Crendor w/ Dodger?) they get the ability to identify how many treasures are still in an area AND another ability to highlight nearby treasures (if you wish, can just not use it if this hurts your fun), their passive ability means you "steal" items at the end of combat...more luck = higher chance (mechanically its a second "roll" on the enemies loot table) 4) Merchant is surprisingly a pretty good class, I used it instead of "Warrior" they are pretty tough and occasionally cause enemies to drop extra gold. 5) Monster Wrangler is a class unique to this remake, I personally love it and it has an ability that tells you when a monster is nearby but MORE important is that it allows you to ignore the odd requirements like using musk to recruit a monster. (leaving you only needing it to be the right time of day which the "monster is nearby" ability also says "isn't out and about right now" if its the wrong time...most of night or day w/ a few dusk or dawn, just use an inn to change time, some spells/items change time too) 6) When you "evolve" your characters (min lvl 20 but you might be higher by the time you get there) they keep any abilities they LEARNED but they DO NOT keep their passive ability so for example thieves no longer "steal" but till keep the ability that tells you how many treasures are in an area, gadabouts no longer ignore orders/waste turns. 7) At one point you need a merchant to advance a certain quest, if you have a merchant already DO NOT use that merchant, they leave the party for a LONG time. Make a random one instead but MAKE SURE to give it a cool name. :D 8) My Party Hero (Tough cookie personality, used primarily as a warrior) Merchant -> Monster Wrangler Thief -> Martial Artist Mage -> "Gyrados" Was sad to lose merchant and thief passives but I've long had more than enough money so merchants passive has become mostly irrelevant and If i want a certain drop im gonna make three gadabouts than "evolve" them to thieves for absurd luck levels, than let Hero mop up the enemies with a boomerang Havent finished yet but im pretty sure im close (Hero is Lvl 40)

Another theory of mine is that because the police station in Alan Wake 2 is different from the one in Alan Wake 1 (Architecture wise) that the reality of Alan Wake 2 is different than the one from Alan Wake 1, and Alan Wake gets out of the Dark Place in a different reality than his original one, making the Dark Place the Hatch/Door between Multiple worlds, the threshold of the Multiverse itself.

My theory is that Instead of Alan Wake 3 we'll get an Alice Wake Game following her, Saga and Alan as 3 Protagonist. Alice in the Dark Place, Alan in Overlaps, and Saga in the Real World, GTAV Style. And Alice's weapon of choice being a Camera, with Gameplay "Fatal Frame" Style, about Capturing the shadows of Alan Wake in Photographs. That's how I would do it. Making it a modern retelling of "Alice in the Wonderland" except it's "Alice in the Dark Place"

Jesse just stick it out with Crendor (your gadabout) and learn all the abilities you'll get a decent heal and a attack all on as well. edit you want to get crendor to 45-46 for channel anger.

Despite the clown being named crendor yes, the payoff will be astronomical.
