Hey Jesse, I have been lurking in this community for well over a decade now. Never been active in the discord or Twitch chat or whatever. But still I just wanted to let you know, I really love the direction you're taking the channel in. And this podcast, as countless others have said, is something I really needed. I'm super proud of how far you guys have gotten. I can't wait to see what's ahead. Much love, my man.❤

Jesse having to explain Vtubers is very funny to me since it's because of him I first found out about them myself. I know dodger didnt mean anything bad by it, but I'm glad jesse called Lil miss and Mr men a British thing bc its...not just english😢 most of us in Britain outside of England grew up with them as a major part of our childhoods and it can feel pretty bad to have 3/4 parts of britain (wales, scotland and northern ireland) forgotten in that.
@DexterityBonus Жыл бұрын
Hi! Sorry about that. I get yelled at for saying "Britain" when I really just mean England (the opposite problem lol) so unless I know for sure it's "British", I just say England to be safe
@chaosdestructionlove Жыл бұрын
@DexterityBonus hey thanks for the reply I appreciate it. I'm sure its rough sometimes to know which to say when you haven't necessarily been here long enough to know the ins and outs of what's a shared British cultural thing and what's more to english habits and behaviours. (I mean, I was raised here and only recently learnt that thanking the bus driver in England isn't necessarily thing always? But that's a VERY common place thing in wales). As I said, I know you didn't mean anything bad by it and it's very easily done. Edit: i guess the generalised "call it british if you're unsure" thing is ingrained in a lot of brits bc we also do the same for america, if i dont know if something is state specific i just say something is American. 🤔
