Same here. I fell down this rabbit hole when I randomly found HiimRawn's pokemon rap with Dodger and Alex. I found a bunch of great channels from that rabbit hole including game station/Polaris, warp zone, screw attack, game trailers, and of course Cynical Brit and the tgs podcast.

I delight in the full circle of in the old podcasts being introduced to Criken, then later see the face reveal of Criken, and now after many years of watching Criken he's on this podcast. So many people I've been a fan of for many years I first discovered when they were guests on TGSP/CO-OP. I love that the spirit of those podcasts once more lives on and brightens the world.

When I saw the prominence of the USB in the Pony Island 2 trailer, my first thought was Jesse's USB he keeps of Pony Island 1. I would not be surprised if Mullins had somehow heard of that and thought it was a neat idea to incorporate into the game.

Having just started playing the Baldur's gate, I am now starting to really appreciate the ancient alien races being based on D&D, especially whenever Mathas describes them in Chilluminati. Speaking of, I'm glad that Baldur's Gate 3 took home the well deserved GotY. I'm more surprised that Alan Wake 2 got a couple of awards. Also, just seeing Jesse sitting there as part of the crowd with the LAHEE shirt is such a treat.

I'm sure its rough sometimes to know which to say when you haven't necessarily been here long enough to know the ins and outs of what's a shared British cultural thing and what's more to english habits and behaviours. (I mean, I was raised here and only recently learnt that thanking the bus driver in England isn't necessarily thing always? But that's a VERY common place thing in wales). As I said, I know you didn't mean anything bad by it and it's very easily done. Edit: i guess the generalised "call it british if you're unsure" thing is ingrained in a lot of brits bc we also do the same for america, if i dont know if something is state specific i just say something is American. 🤔

Jesse, you should try Eco! There you can actually do what you described, destroy the environment and have a permanent effect. You could also drive a species extinct if you hunt them too much. Or heavily pollute. It has many options
