jesse you have no idea how much this series means to me, seeing you working with this horse who was also in the netherlands is my heart horse. he was just like Champ, in character and in looks. and it gives me so much joy since i’ve lost him to see him in this video and get a reminder of what he’s like, and the memories come flying back. it means so much to the bottom of my heart

@Black Equine - 💖😢💔 Your comment touched me today & made me miss my big baby 🐴 "Mikey." He was an OTTB who came to me with many issues. But... we got there! 🥰 He was so gentle & sweet with me.... & so dang smart! I'm so sorry for the loss of your ♥️-horse. It (💔💔💔) never goes away.

Blackequine, your comment touched me too … losing the horses in our lives can be the hardest thing to bear. But I think you can count on his lifelong memories of you, too, and they’d help him through his life. The longer I live, the more I suspect we’ll all have a reunion one day with those we’ve loved. In the meanwhile, let’s remember what we’ve learned and keep making memories! 👍

@@jodyhuston1516 I completely agree with you. It is the hardest thing, and our story was so unique too as im sure yours will. I had a friend tell me once then when we miss them lots, its because they are thinking about us and we are in their thoughts. I hope the memories stay vivid for you and you can relive those precious memories too.

He is a stunningly beautiful horse. You are doing an amazing job re-educating him. It is so frustrating that us humans can't speak to horses and find out what went wrong in their past. Someone clearly scared him at some point.

@@JulieVDK01396 All horses has a nervous disposition, they are prey animals, but they can all be trained to be less in flight mode. I don't think horses has the mental capacity to be , what I would define as, childish, but I'm not entirely sure what you mean by it.
@JulieVDK01396
@JulieVDK01396 Жыл бұрын
@@pernille2389 I understand what u mean. And yes i i agree :) I think its the same with all animals, if you treat them nice they will always show love back :) What i meant was. That i had 2 horse from a long time ago.. Both had their own "personality" one was just always nervous because he was "speedy" and wanted to be the boss and always be the first one out of alle the other horses to do things.. the other was just like a ... baby.. kinda. He would just lay down and roll and pretend to sleep.. Thats why i commented, because not all horses that is "nervous" have experienced a bad trainer, abuse, neglegence og something like that... even if they may act like that, I had both the horses since foals and both very happy horses.. but just acting sometimes like they werent treated right :p

The psychological problems are harder to deal with then that actual issue itself. If the horse has been broken badly or treated badly or has had pain, even eliminating them from the equation still will leave the mental scars but with time and patience it can be over come. He’s a nice horse and in time he will make his owner a great horse. So glad she didn’t give up on him and just get rid of him. It will be nice to see her and him in the future both happy and enjoying each others company. Well done Jesse. You’re doing a grand job
