Jessi does sound and look beautiful at 80. Love helps bring out the light in a soul. Waylon and Jessi had an epic love, but it's been years since he passed. I once believed I could never love again, but my wife passed seven years ago and my heart is begining to feel open again. Now I guess I need a good matchmaker. 😁 I wish Jessi and Arlin much happiness. Speaking of "love", I love "Why You Been Gone So Long?". Go, Jessi!

Great to know Jessi found love again. She certainly MORE than did her part in the “til death do us part” vow with Waylon. Nice to know she found someone with whom to share the “goldenest” of years. She sounds and looks amazing at 80 years of age. Doesn’t seem possible. Can’t wait for her new self-written album in September this year.

Still hard she married again waited a lot of years after Waylon passed away why get married now after so long?? Especially on the date Feb. 14 Waylon passed on 13 of February and you remarry this other man on the 14 some years later not quite understanding. You deserve it, after baby sitting a man for yrs who was a pill popper and drunk , then died from " sugar diabetes, caused by drinking " and a foot and ankle amputation , neuropathy. Waylon did live too hard for too long. He hated booze, but used stimulants to keep himself up and running, and that took a predictable toll on his body. I choose to focus on what matters most about their love story. During their marriage Jessi returned to her Christian faith. Her prayers were answered when Waylon got clean, and late in his life, after several years sober, Waylon accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior. Through it all they lived a love story that has become one of the most beloved in Country Music history. The man Waylon Jennings became would want Jessi to have love and companionship at this time in her life ... and it is her life. May God bless her new marriage.

Evidently they loved each other very much to the end of Waylons life otherwise Jessi would not have stayed with him. Give the man some credit with her help he finally got back on the right track and I'm sure Jessi did not look at Waylon as having to baby sit him. They loved each other deeply and got through all the bad stuff together and with the help of God they made it.
