WHen I was a kid, I begged my parents to let me change my school but they wouldn't. It almost ruined me. It's good that other kids get their voice heard, mine never was... Not when I was a kid, not now, I feel invisible...

I agree with Rob out in the Midwest like no matter what age you’re in for school. It’s always more intense here versus like LA or Miami that have more variety of different foods.

Y’all were thinking of the town Stars Hallow! I’m a huge Gilmore Girls, Hart of Dixie & Greys fan. They’re kind of my comfort shows. ❤ I’d LOVE to live in a small town like that or Blue Bell. 😊

Came back watching the last bit, thought I'd share a little memory spurred on by Jessica's T Swift story. Way, way back I actually met and hung out for a little bit with Ms. Bilson. This was before she was famous and I think she was an extra on one episode of Buffy The Vampire Slayer if I remember right (I'm nobody fame-wise, used to be a writer long ago, though not for Buffy). Anyway, I just ended up sitting next to her by chance at some point, ended up talking for like an hour or two, each of us wasting some time eating...I guess it must have been lunch, I don't remember exact time and dates, it's been like 25 years or so. Nothing gossipy. It wasn't flirting or anything juicy when I sat next to her, more two strangers bs-ing on random topics about life and the universe, light stuff like that. Not overly serious, she just had a sense of humor that was easy to hang with. Anyway, I still remember it because when she did get big with OC, I was like "Hey! It's that girl! She made it!" That kind of thing. But it stayed in my memory because even though it was only one unfocused, rambling topics conversation with a stranger, I always remembered her for how genuinely sweet and kind she seemed. It's a weird memory to have, because Rachel was just another person at the time how we all walk past each other in life every day, nothing celebrity, and also it's like I had conversation, yet in no way could call that knowing her as we basically ate, threw out a good meeting you type thing and we were both gone doing our lives. I guess it's like running into the regular store cashier at a rock concert. You're like, "You! I know you....sorta. But not really. But kinda, for a second." And that's my Bilson story. Don't look at me like that, I'm killing time while listening to the podcast.
