Hello Jon. I kind of doubt you're still reading these, but thanks for all these lessons. They're kind of ideal for my current level as a (senior) "intermediate" student enthusiast. You asked for comments about what you could do to help us more. Well, I'd really like to see detailed tabs and the standard notation to go with your lessons. That is the one thing I miss here and what I really like about the Fender Play songs, simplified though they are. The Ultimate Guitar versions don't provide any kind of tutorial, but do include detailed tabs. Your live lessons make all the difference, but having a detailed tab illustration would help me visualize the song and retain it going forward. Thanks again.

Wow he makes that strumming for the first part look so easy but it took my about 4 days of about 1.5 hrs a day to finally get it to about 75% speed and even then my brain was about to burst. But what I found out is that after enough practicing that your brain goes on automatic. I never paid much attention to strumming patterns and spent most of my time learning scales and chords. I definitely have more appreciation for rhythm guitar now.

EXCELLENT instruction.Very glad to see someone concentrating on acoustic rhythm- there's very few songs that DON'T benefit from a well-strummed acoustic. (Or 2 or 3- juat ask Jeff Lynne! ;) )
