WORK IN PROGRESS:
The sweater I am currently working on is called Borah. The pattern will hopefully be ready for you all this fall! It uses worsted weight yarn. I am using Quince & Co Lark.

I love Susan B Anderson’s toy patterns. I have knit many for my granddaughters. Years ago I knit the Arne and Carlos dolls for my seven grandsons. I knit them in their favorite football team colors, stitched their favorite player number on the front and their initial on the back. Then each of several years for their birthday they got an accessory: sweater, pants, hat football. They are all teenagers now but I still see the dolls displayed in their rooms.

Kittens are so cute. I am not surprised that u kiddos love them. As for the sweater just LOVE it. I hope I will catch when u test it as my hubby just loves the look of it.

Great job on the Sleepy Kitties 🐈‍⬛! I’m sure your children will treasure them for years and years to come, all the sweet little details like the eyecolor and initials …but oh my gosh that would’ve been stressful near the end. Your husband’s cabled sweater is going to be unbelievable! I wouldn’t even begin to know how to rip back on a cabled pattern. My first cast on of 2024 is your Fletching I’m using Rauma Finull in grass green and white for the colourwork 🤞🏼

I love your husband’s sweater Borah! I’d like to knit a sweater for my husband, but I’m not sure if he’s knit worthy enough. I’ve knit him quite a few hats, and all of them have gotten lost. The week after I knit one he left it in the woods after chopping wood. I found it months later with mushrooms growing out of it! The sleepy kitty’s are adorable! I’ve only crocheted amigurumi animals before, but want to try some knitted ones for my nieces the next time.

I have exactly the same problem with Judy’s magic cast on. I have tried it many times and watched multiple tutorials and to this day, I don’t know what I’m doing wrong! Eventually I gave up and I now have a few pairs of socks with purl bumps in the centre toe. Thank you for sharing the Turkish Cast On - I will give this a go 😊

I’ve made Magnus Mouse, an Arne and Carlos pattern, for my niece’s kids and changed it up. One is mouse, one is cat, and one is rabbit. The pattern looks very similar to your sleepy kitties. I loved knitting them.
