You should watch the movie " The Sappphires". Aussie movie with Jess as the lead character. This is a true story of The Supremes? The band who came out of outback Australia and went to Vietnam to perform for all the troops there in the 60s?. Amazing movie, and youll love it. We have sooo many who are now very well recognized and successful as singers after Australian Idol. Jess is one, Guy Sebastian is another. Dami Im. Casey Donovan, Isiaiah Firebrace, Stan Walker. Sophie Monk, but as a TV Presenter/host.

If you love Jess, you might like Guy Sebastian too! The Guy made his first debut in Australian Idol 2003 I think? Vocally I think his style is similar to Jess too. If you ever look into Guy Sebastian, look into one of his first original song “Angels Brought me Here”, which he sung on Australian Idol!
