I never actually shipped them at first cuz as a kid I was more interested in Sakura capturing cards but... then I started to notice the change in Syaoran. It was really a natural and beautiful love story! I couldn't helped it and ended up cheering for him.

My all time favorite anime. I ultimately love the story and Sakura/Syaoran love story is a wonderful bonus. 😍 I can't help but imagine this kind of story really happened in real life. I love how their feelings started when they were little kids until they grew up. So much to be admire! ❤️

This seems to be the happiest pair of Syaoran and Sakura. Syaoran and Sakura parting in CCS is relatively happy compared to the pairs in Tsubasa. In Tsubasa, Clone Sakura has to forget Clone Syaoran; they then died, reincarnated, have a child, get separated from their son then from each other, then they died again. Real Syaoran and Sakura can’t stay together since real Syaoran must travel the worlds forever.

Yes, I think that’s why Tsubasa isn’t that popular compared to Cardcaptors Sakura. It is a shame when a creator creates something fantastic! Things typically go “dark and edgy” when it shouldn’t. And Cardcaptors Sakura is one that should always be a happy series.
