I don’t think you should contact them after 30 days. Once you say good bye it’s goodbye, it’s up to them to reach out not you. Whether it’s 3/6/9 months. My ex contacted me after 4 years, I was polite even though he was vile when he left me. I had the power then to say sorry I’m not interested anymore. That felt good you will get through it and most of the time they come back but sadly it’s too late then.

It’s been almost a year since our break up. The hardest part is because we were friends for years before we got together. It also became a long distance rel when she moved away for school. I know a lot of mistakes I made. I was in a job that was working me to death and didn’t even have time for myself. I have since quit that job but the damage was done already. We split on I think it was good terms, no screaming or etc. I wish even if the rel is done that we could be friends again. I know it’s usually not the thing to do but she had been a special friend before and life got in the way. I know people would say it was my fault. Hello Jessica. I broke up with my gf even if everything was perfect. We had the best time of our lives being together. Suddenly she said that she wants to be single. She jumped from a long relationship in being with me and she said that she wants to see how is to be completely alone and experience loneliness...to go and come having no pressure of a relationship ( that’s what she said). In the first week I’ve been to her place because I had to pick up some things and she said that as less time I stay there(time of the visit) is better for her because she might change her mind and lose control and wanting to get back together ...so she feels so good with me but wants to experience loneliness or no relationship. I wouldn’t be surprise to see her going out with someone else just to get me out of her mind and get over. I was in this situation before with another gf and the option of not trying to get her back didn’t help me, she never wanted to get back together and now I feel like if I’m not fighting for it it’s going to end the same ( me on my way and she on her road) and it’s sad because it was something amazing. And another thing is that even if she would like to get back together she has such a big Ego that she would not try to open this subject. Hey Jessica, In collaboration with Brad, we've attempted to do what we can to reach out to my ex-. After doing what you told me to do (giving her space since she went through three losses in one month), she sent a message that you forgives me for all my mistakes but that she wants tp move on from all this. Brad recommended to reach out to her 2-3 weeks after and send her a meme. She didn't respond to that. However, after my niece wanted some merchandise from a KZbinr that my ex- is interested in, I reached out to her for help with choosing appropriate merch, and that conversation went well (thankfully). A week later, I sent a meme, and no response. A few days later, Brad and I came up with the idea of sending her a message with my niece having her merch and her and I smiling, thanking my ex- for her help with choosing the merch. jacqueline fullerton no contact is almost impossible when there’s children involved. Is he a good father to the kids? No contact for you will he virtually no convos about getting back together only conversations that deal specifically around the kids.. I can almost guarantee that the relationship he is in is indeed a rebound. Rebound relationships do not last very long. You only have to be patient and let it run its course. In the meantime work on yourself and focus on being a good mother. And he will recognize this in due time and will be begging to come back. But you have to focus on being the best version of you.
