Relationships have so many games, that the value of them is practically nothing. That said, if you don't want your ex back, don't take them back but aren't we really running the risk of our next "love" getting bored and leaving you as well? Hi Javier. The fact that she says maybe there is a future is definitely a good sign. I would avoid bringing up the guy she hooked up with as you don't want to come off as jealous. I think being friends sends the wrong message right now but when you cheated it can be more complicated. I'll give you a scenario; I had a girlfriend for 3 years most of the relationship was spent long distance. We met over the internet and in person spent plenty of time together but I lived in the United States and she lived in New Zealand we broke up last year and it was a nasty breakup. I sold everything I had gave everything up my car and travel the world to say that I was sorry and to make amends with a bag of butterfinger bars because they don't have them in New Zealand. Stone Cold no expression. Her coworkers got involved in said she was with another man turns out the really was in another man 4 months later I found out she had got with a transgender girl to boy and said that it was her boyfriend which was a lie it took someone else to realise that that was a girl and they've never even met. Now 4 months later with absolutely no contact and coming to the end of my visa here I wonder if they wonder where I was since I was a creature of habit emailing every month we had a conversation and I only saw her a total of 3 x face to face I was here with complete resistance. I think the whole Internet thing for her is just nothing more than her being angry at me going to the first person that took it. (she even admitted it). thank you Jessica for your quick answer. actually it doesnt feel like she is disappointed- its more like i shouldnt have messeged her in the first place. all i did was telling her to stop cutting the contact and getting back in contact again- because we both had better things to do and that i could deal with bot(having contact or no contact at all) and that our breakup was to our both best. since her answer was that our relationship is over long ago and that she would wish i would stop with talking about "us" it feels more like because of my messege she thinks now that i would still miss her. so ye, i dont know how but she turned the messege wrong. i guess all i can do at this point is proof her wrong and cut off the contact so she realizes that i did mean what i said. all though i dont understand her actions- if she was so happy in her new relationship, why would she first block me on all social media just to add me again a month later. i will definitely take a step back not contact her till she messeges me on her own because im sure if i would messege her again, she would turn it again into me messing her.

Hi Andrew, sad to hear. The only advice I can give you is to get your life back on the track, get some new clothes, impress yourself, find a cool hobby and hang out with friends where sometimes woman are within your distance when you take pictures. Your ex will fantasize and will think like a machine what you're doing under the radar... she will contact you one day when the missing feeling has taken her on the knees. There can be no attraction sparkled if you and your ex are staying friends. In the best case you could say "Sorry, I need to have some space for myself"... and disappear for a little time.

Hi Anthony. No contact is more difficult when you have a child together but this is also an opportunity. Let her see that you're doing fine without her and obviously show her that you're being a good father to her child. Since you were together for so long the no contact period needs to be longer for her to really miss you. She will come around with time.
