Andrew Cohen made a good point that live reunions don’t work because he says it takes awhile to get to the center of issues that create a dialogue for drama, answers and tea. A live reunion is too rushed, and isn’t enough time to ask all the questions needed for a juicy reunion where the fans get all their questions asked!

Seeing two successful black people falling in love for the world to see just did something for my spirit! Y'know, this reunion really opened my eyes to a lot of things, specifically white hosts and white commentary. I think the reason why people from different backgrounds relate to black hosts so much is because black people are forced to emerge ourselves in white media and white spaces, making us more accustomed to engaging in casual conversations with people from different races-and that's something many people from white backgrounds aren't forced to do. They're not forced to pick up on dialect, on culture, on mannerisms, slang, or black social etiquette, so when they're (Nick and Vanessa) given the opportunity to connect with some of the black cast members (Tiffany and Brett), they give very artificial dialogue. Which is why I think Vanessa communicated more of her emotion towards Paul and Micah is because she felt comfortable in doing so-they're also the only fully white couple in the cast. This is just MY opinion, but made me think about it while listening to your video. Love your channel!

Vanessa is Wasian. Her Mom is Filipina and her Dad is white. Identifying as Asian is part of why she was cast for Hawaii NCIS. She was raised by her white Dad, so I don't know what her connection is to her culture and how much she feels herself to be Asian, but I'm pretty sure she would not say that she is white. What I thought was weird was her "y'alls" etc but I don't know enough about her to know whether she was raised in the South. I know her Dad was in the military and I think they moved around a lot.

First, it was Netflix that dropped the ball that we weren't able to get on the livestream. Then, it was Nick and Vanessa for how poorly they hosted the show. Followed by Kwame, who still wasn't being one hundred percent honest about how much he was into Micah. Along with Micah, who was just as mean girl as Irina, but wasn't given as much smoke. Then, how they tried to paint Paul out to be this bad, insensitive guy, when truth be told, they probably would not have lasted if they had said yes to each other. After that, Jackie couldn't bring her cowardly butt on the show, and the only props I give to Irina is that she did show up and offer apologies. Not only was Paul treated unfairly, so was Marshall. I signed that petition to get Nick and Vanessa to get off the show. If someone starts the one to get Jessie, I will sign that too. 🙂

Zach is one fine handsome young man! I love his quirkiness, his charisma, his heart seems pure. I had moments when I teared up listening to him talk about how he grew up, not being accepted. Bliss came in his life and made it all better. Her family also helped him and loves him and he needed that affection. I think God made Bliss just for him and I wish them all the love in the world. I pray they get money together and build their family legacy. Paul is clearly neurodivergent. That's why he was like, we discussed the rules and she observed the rules. It's also why he's so matter of fact and answers literal questions. Plus, it's why her friends were uncomfortable with him. He's handsome and also giving difference that's palpable but that other people can't put their finger on. He doesn't have the same effect as Zack with Irina but in a sense it may be harder for him because he must come across as just a little off or odd to people which in some situations is harder. And yes, whatever Micah wants the fact (and Paul be about facts) is that she is not nurturing or clear Mommy material. She is a mean girl.

I find it quite dark how Micah tried at least twice to have a conversation with Chelsea, after the whole pool incident with Kwame. Micah literally has nothing to contribute nor she was saying anything of value to clear the air. She merely showed up to have a conversation with Chelsea because she was expecting a reaction from Chelsea for messing with her man's head, either anger/sadness or something along the line. But instead, Chelsea just acted normal and nearly emotionless which threw Micah off. Micah wasn't happy with it because she thrive on people's misery and want to laugh at people in their lowest moments.
