Bukod sa Ugbo, Tondo, meron din mga kainan na masarap malapit lang sa ugbo, it's called Herbosa St. We used to eat there with my mom and stepfather, I forgot the name of my dad's favorite carideria but I loved their bulalo and porksilog. 😊

Aling consuelo's halo-halo is the OG store. But more than a decade ago DG started to sell swirly bitz (shake) on a small wooden stall for starter, then they expanded to selling burgers, frappes etc. Till they occupied the right side of the street of varona from trinidad to ugbo, then the stores/stalls spread like wild fire.

The last time we went there with my friends last 2 months ago. The last food we tried is Aling Consuelo Halo halo. na dissapointed kami dahil yung sinerved sa amin na Halo halo is tunaw na yung ice, so di namin gaano naappreciate yung pagkain nung halo halo. maaga aga pa nun cguro mga past 10 pm pa lang. dina namin naubos yung halo halo. sa lahat ng natikman kong halo halo is yung Razon Halo halo talaga. The Best yung lasa nun. , di ganong karami yung sahog nya pero napaka flavored nung lasa nya, as in. You Must Try that Ms. Jessica. 🙏❤

I love chicharon bulaklak. We have a food area here in Cebu City Pungko Pungko at Osmeña. Their style is different. Its coated with flour so its like fried chicken. Its also less oily than the usual bulaklak.

The thing about the bagoong of you're uninitated or traumatized about the subpar ginisang sides you've had is you have to mix it with some of the tomato slices to cut the smelliness or saltiness of it because how it's dubious origin and preparation. Insider tip: eat the itlog maalat WITH the tomato slices as well to cut the saltiness. If you have hypertension and elevated low density lipoproteins (cholesterol) and want to live dangerously then go to Sugbo Tondo. 😅

The only i know "si manong" 😂😂😂 Tip for chicharon bulaklak, you need to dip it well into a spice vinegar and let the vinegar soak into it a little. It helps for you to not notice much oil while chewing it.

Valenzuela City isang van kami dadayo para lang pumunta sa Tondo para kumain lang ng Halo Halo ni Aling Consuelo wala pang mga tindahan dyan sa ugbo noon ang katabi yan kainan nag titinda ng masarap na Lechon kawali sarap ng sauce nun eh hindi gravy.
