New York Brownstone Townhouses | The Sims 4 Speed Build

NYC resident here-a townhouse would be the entire building. Many townhouses in the city have been subdivided into individual units, making whole, intact ones VERY expensive. “Brownstone” has more to do with the appearance/construction of the building than anything else.

This may be one of the best speed builds I’ve ever seen! This is just art, honestly. Congratulations for finishing this amazing project! I’d really love to see more houses catered to a group of friends living together rather than family homes. I tend to play more often than not with young adult sims, so it’d be perfect. That way, you could also build a more fancy place with fun stuff for parties and things like that. Hopefully you’ll consider it at some point! 🤞🏻

Jessica, I have a lot of your builds in my save files. I love them because the detail on the exterior and the interior is always spot on. But this… This is a masterpiece! Maybe it’s because you’re using CC, maybe it’s because you know you can build these for three different families, but wow are they wonderful! I have about 3/4 of the CC you used. I’m playing a super Sim right now; she and her husband and children are living in Chestnut Ridge. At some point later down the road I’ll need to move them to San Myshuno and I’m thinking that this would be the perfect building for the family. Two of the three kids could each have a townhome and the parents could live in the other townhome. Absolutely perfection! ❤️❤️❤️

One of the sons will take over the ranch and the other son could have the large townhome for his eventual family. My super sim and her super hubby could have the 2 BR unit. Okay see... i love your work, and I do love CC and I have some downloaded. But I told myself long ago that I CANNOT... allow myself to go to multiple websites, a lot of them patreons that must be paid for, in order to justify ONE lot. And damn, can we just talk about the Sim community's ability to make a buck off of one another? Between paying for simoleans on The Sims Online, paying people to design your roof in that game to attract people, and now people's patreons full of CC hair and clothes and skin tones? Ptssssh. It's... a lot, considering how much it is to have all The Sims 4 expansions, packs, and stuffs. All the CC from different people's packages, don't always go well together, and they WILL slow down your game eventually. My mods folder is 6gb, and I really can't imagine it being twice or three times that, full of random artist's DLC.

​ @Jessicapie Could you make a build inspired by homes in Chicago? We have Bungalos, Two-flats, Greystones... Alot of our apartment buildings have courtyards that have multiple entrances into the buiding. We have alot of rich architecture here. Frank Lloyd is from Chicago and he has alot of houses build here. Google homes in Lincoln Park and Lakeview. You've done alot of NY inspired homes. Just would love to see a Chicago one. Chicago is nicknamed the Paris of the Prairie nevertheless. 😃 Edit: FYI. We don't have trash all over the ground like NY. So if you build it... no need for trash on the ground. We also have alleys behind our buildings where we have trash cans and dumpsters.
