Where is YOUR country u have never been to ?
@janew65744 ай бұрын
@@Tyh26 Are you not watching the video? Of course, Gaza looks nothing like this, now. The recent UN report has concluded that Israel is committing war crimes, crimes against humanity and ecocide, amongst even other crimes, in the Occupied Palestine Territories. A second report has added Israel to a global, UN blacklist of countries which cause excessive harm to children. Without videos, such as this, people in many countries have primarily had vile, anti Palestinian propaganda to rely on, for information. I didn't know very much about Gaza, before last year. At first, I actually believed people, who vilely wrote that Palestinians have "low intelligence" and "bring up their children to hate others". I have found that both of those appalling statements couldn't be further from the truth, even though I think that Palestinians could not be blamed, if they did feel enormous animosity towards the decision makers and unfortunately many people of the occupying State. Those governments (such as the US, UK, even the German and my Australian governments), which have enabled Israel to be so oppressive, now have a terrible stain on our histories. We cannot stop advocating for the CEASEFIRE and for Palestinian human rights, until those ESSENTIAL elements are enacted.

@janew65744 ай бұрын
@@rywt4zc My Australian government, the UN and many other countries formally acknowledge the Occupied Palestine Territories of Gaza and West Bank. There would not be such work, going on, right now, towards recognition of the State of Palestine, if it were not occupied. I recommend searching for the video, posted at You Tube, of the presentation to the ICJ, made by Ralph Wilde, lawyer for the League of Arab States, earlier this year. He spoke about the illegality of Israel's occupation of Palestine Territories. What I quoted about Israel's crimes against humanity and it's addition to the UN global blacklist of countries which harm children, is from two UN reports, that have been released, in the last few days. To make the leap of conclusion that condemning Israel's 75+ years of human rights violations, equals "supporting terrorism", is really quite a leap. About Hamas' ALLEGED actions, on Oct 7th, I would say that: the world's source of information about what actually happened, has been primarily from what the Israeli government has told us, as well as material that Israeli officials have even admitted was propaganda, intended to "increase hatred towards Hamas". Some if that propaganda was rapidly quoted by President Biden, without him waiting for verification. Similarly, Biden ceased funding to UNRWA, immediately, without any investigation, after Israel alleged that some UNRWA staff were "Hamas terrorists". No evidence was subsequently provided and funding was resumed, but Gazan people had starved to death, or were heinously denied live saving health care materials, during the time that international governments were blindly believing anything that Israel told them. I don't doubt that people were killed and I know that Hamas leaders have definitely stated that they planned a resistance 'attack' (in which they planned to take military hostages). Hamas leaders have stated that their planned attack was infiltrated, on the day. I have also learned from reports which investigate the IOF's killing of it's own citizens, on that day, as well as other factors that diverge from what Israel has portrayed. I believe that Hamas resistance has many similarities with IRA resistance. As such, I can very much understand their reasons for resisting, without condoning what apparently was committed, on Oct 7th. Another commenter compared the following situation: though individual slaves committed acts of violent resistance to slavery, their violent resistance did not make slavery in any way 'right'. Nor would an individual slave's violent resistance have made Genocide of slaves in any way tolerable. No one committed crimes against humanity, against Irish people; even though the IRA were violently resisting British occupation. Likewise, the catastrophic rampage on Gaza did not have to be the 'response' to what was committed on Oct 7th. I believe that the US and other governments have been very complicit, in tolerating Israel's oppression, over many years, as well as their failure to insist that Israel return to the abandoned Peace Processes. What was committed on Oct 7th should never have reached that stage, because international governments should have been insisting that Israel respect international law, decades ago. If anyone looks through news reports, from decades ago, they'll find that Israel's flouting of international law and the question of Israel's unacknowledged nuclear capabilities has been questioned, at the HN, for decades - yet the US has never heeded those questions (or worse, it's actively silenced questions). If anyone hasn't learned about the catastrophic 'hell on Earth', in Gaza, from outside of what Israeli government or propaganda sources will claim, I feel that they have responsibility to do so; especially if their government is funding Israel's war crimes.

I just subscribed to your channel after finding you again since commenting on your Boulder vlog two years ago (my hometown). I really love this video. Your narration is impeccable, a soothing and compassionate telling of a beautiful culture. Although I do not travel much, I share your appreciation for diverse cultures. Thank you for sharing. Peace and goodwill to you and all who cross your path in life.

I’m a Palestinian, and I live in Bethlehem, I can’t express my love for Bethlehem and Palestine in general, but what I really hate is how small it is since it’s surrounded by all these walls, I feel like there’s a burden on me when ever I see a wall that’s keeping me away from the beauty that’s in Palestine, my ancestors were from Jerusalem but some got killed and some who survived went to Bethlehem, I’m 14, I really love this video and I love how you perfectly showed how we live💗💗

Look at how each and every Palestinian is soooo hospitable and generous!!! It's their blessing and maybe their curse... I am just imagining that these are the same beautiful faces that accepted the beaten and exhausted holocaust survivors in the beginning of the last century, and look what their kids and grandkids have done back in return!!!!!! It is so diabolical and sick..... 😢💔

This was priceless. ❤ 🤩🫡 I have seen the mosque at Hebron in a vlog before but your tour covered so much more of Palestine. The part where you almost crossed over from the Rachel's tomb gate to Israel proper because the guy assumed 'old town' meant Jerusalem/Quds was hilarious. 😂 Best video I have seen all year. 👍🏾

I grew up in a settlement and its nothing like Hebron. Where i live jews and arabs live just fine. Nobody is hurting anyone. We coexist just fine and as a matter of fact many of the arabs here have no issues with sharing the land. I do have a problem with the fanatics thinking they have some divine right to treat people like shit, throw garbage on them and kick them out of their homes. I love my home and love that we for the most part live peacefully here. Not all settlements are full of idiots and fanatics. Majority are more than happy to share the land and live in harmony. I believe its the politics and governments trying to pin us against each other but at the end of the day i follow how i was raised which is judge a person based on their character not color of skin and where they are from. We must learn to share the land together or we will end up sharing the graveyard instead.... There are good and bad people on both sides of this conflict and they seem to be the loudest but the silent majority are good people and just want to enjoy this beautiful historical land in peace.

but the settlements mean you did kick them out of their land/house, no? I'm glad to hear another side tho.

you have a golden heart. Your comment motivated me to watch the video on your "no soup for you" profile about "my life time". I wish you good luck, and keep the good feelings. Palestinian and Arabs don't hate jewish people, they hate the Zionists who robbed them of their life and land. Thank you.
@NickyRikki5 ай бұрын
@@bassam5714 I can understand those that hate the Zionist narrative. End of the day it was a movement that came to replace another people and use religious ideology to do it. I am a 4th generation Israeli with my great grandparents coming here in the 20s to escape the horrors of europe at the time. I can't change what happened and their choices to come here. I am a product of Zionism whether I like it or not. No one in my family came here thinking it's at the expense of someone else. They were simply looking to escape Europe and avoid persecution. The Zionist narrative did a good job at promising many poor Jews in particular from Europe that they will have a utopia and country of their own where they live working the land and in peace. In a way many Jews are just as much victim to Zionism as are the Arabs. I am proud to be Jewish and Israeli as this is my identity. Do I believe in a Jewish utopia now ? No because it's hell. A Jewish state in itself is nothing short of a Nazi dream come true. After 4 generations here I can't say I don't feel part of land but not in a religious way or any kind of land worshipper. Just simply a citizen of the culture and place I was born. We have a language now, music, food, theater and many things that make up a nation but, we need to accept and embrace the other people part of this place which in my eyes are the roots of this land. It's only a matter of time when we will truly have peace with each other and look forward to this day because religious supremacy is hell for both sides and causes more death and destruction than good and that goes for most of the middle east that uses religion to justify its crimes. Hopefully we get rid of Netanyahu first ..... The leaders running our lives are looking for all the ways possible to make life a living nightmare.
