Why is everyone acting like Jessie J is new? Just because Bang Bang is the first song you heard of her, doesn't make her new. She's been around longer than Ariana. Remember Price Tag, Domino? And she may not have a Grammy yet, but lets not be stupid, she will win plenty in her career. She's already sang for the queen multiple times, performed at the olympics, been a voice UK judge. She's been a lot bigger in Europe, but maybe if you listened to something other than usa top 40 radio or paid attention to the media you'd know her.

For all of those saying that Jennifer Hudson sucks, I think that her voice is just not structured for this song. Jessie J is a lyric coloratura soprano while Jennifer is a dramatic soprano. Jessie J's voice is naturally lighter and more agile, just like Sia who is a lyric soprano. Songs like this would sound better on Jessie J, while songs like I Will Always Love You, And I Am Telling You, or I Will Survive are all structured better for a thicker and larger voice like Jennifer's.

I happen to watch them at the Mall practice for this the day before. They both put tremendous effort into their work. Jennifer seems to have this intrinsic quality, I think that can be misunderstood. She always seems to reach deep into herself, almost at times like she's debating what she is doing. To be honest, Mariah and Aretha singing together was far better than these two. Here, I did feel there was a lack of chemistry but not because Jennifer was being a "bitch". Whether someone sings from the heart is obviously subjective but people seem to glaze over the fact that she grew up singing in church where you're taught to feel the words of each song you sing... Obviously with pop music (especially a song that isn't your own) it's going to be harder for some to feel a connection but most of the time Jen does put a lot of soul into her performances. But I don't feel this was one of those times for her.

I love this performance with all of my heart. A true experience of two different interpretations of a song. Jennifer is aggressive and in a way her attitude is more "fit" for the lyrics. I love Jessie and I'm glad everyone in the comments is already aware of how amazing she is, I just thought that a lot of people care more about "faves" than to art itself (don't take me wrong Jessie totally deserves to be your fave).

O.O at the end... whats a Bitch was Jennifer Hudson, when they sing at the same time and she keeps screams after Jessie stops singing, and she said 'we love you' instead of 'The amazing Jessie J' or something different and good about Jessie, just like Jessie did. Ronald Dayon Dayon That is such a lie. An ignorant one at that. Both have similar vocal range. jessie's in fact is larger. Her highest note is an F6 in whistle (just playing around, not in an actual song) and her lows are as as low as Jenifer's and much more solid, as proven in the beginning of this performance.
