This song does everything except cut me. Jessie Murphy got the voice, the words, and her looks. She did it all right, I guess. Love this music.

God, this reminds me a lot of the fights my parents would have when I was a kid. It really touches home to a lot of us out here.

I was sitting in the car with my daughter when I first heard this song i had to hold back tears because it sounds like my relationship and I was struggling with it all my daughter is my best friend and she is everything that I want to be should be other way around but she teaches me something everyday and I appreciate how much she does for me and how she appreciated what I do for her I just wished she didn't see me in the shadows of a man that doesn't appreciate nothing

Lost my dad to suicide when I was 12... and being in a family with very very close family struggling with very hard drugs including myself at one point... absolutely crushed me... I'm grateful I got away and I'm married to the most loving and understanding man who helped me heal that little 12 year old girl in me so I can be the mom my two babies deserve. This song really pulled on my heart strings but it's beautiful.

I agree with Carrie Mason...speaks to me in a thousand ways....my relationship with my ex husband 😢 my current relationship with my oldest son 😢 my childhood...If adult's only knew ( myself included ) ( my parents included ) the damage we do to children by exposing them to this behavior 😢 I am old now no time to fix this. Young people...learn from this 😢 #generationalcurses
