I'm a bisexual female and I came out at 12 😂. My older sister had already come out as gay to my parents (she's discovered she's bi now) and she had to go through so much that I didn't have to go through. My parents are a lot more accepting of everything now. I literally walked up to them one day at the age of 12 and said something along the lines of "Oh by the way mom and dad I might be gay so yeah that's a thing." They were so chill. I'm so grateful that they were so accepting. I'm especially grateful to my older sister who went though all the rough patches with my parents and helped open their eyes to becoming more accepting. Especially since two more of their children came out as bisexual later on and the last child's sexuality is to be determined (and whatever her sexuality is, my parents will be accepting of it). That was my experience with coming out. Also we'll love you no matter what you are Jessie. Welcome to the community ❤.
