@lakoncers13 Жыл бұрын
It would be cool to see, but I can tell you from first hand that when the water is as full as it was in 1983 it’s just as inconvenient to go to the lake as it was last year in July when it was that low. The ultimate goal would be for the lake to be what is basically considered full like it was back in about 1999. In 1983 the lake was actually considered overfull as the lake is not supposed to spill into the Spillways.

The total generating capacity of the Hoover Dam is 2,080 megawatts and its average annual energy output is about 478 megawatts. That wouldn't surprise me, I've been trying to capture more video of the coyotes, bighorn sheep and wild horses that roam around out there. I'm sure they appreciate the less heat intense mornings just like we do

Why are the sides of the mountains white?
@jessiesdroneadventures7464 Жыл бұрын
They are white due to the calcium deposits and other minerals that attached themselves to the rock walls long ago when the water line was much higher.
