I've found out that if you destroy the toxic berry bush (if your creature is strong enough) it won't poison the creature even if it's not immune to poison and you'll still get food

Yeah but it also destroys it and they don't regrow like the withered bushes in the savanna. Its best to keep them until she finds at least One normal berry bush

Pointers: That berry bush next to the toxic one in the beginning was a normal berry bush. You can tell the difference when smelling because the toxic berry bush’s silhouette has branches that droop.

Female: Mekosila- in the creatures language it means healer Silver- for a kind hearted, grey creature Rasira- means brave fighter in niche language Tomie- (too me) means curious soul Male Roko- a type of poison berry Webs- for a swamp loving creature, or one who loves the sea Groul- (grool) mean agressive beast

Jessi, there is difference when you looking for normal berry bush. It has different patern of branches/leaves. There is a sample of it at 13:04 in your video. One berry bush has poison berries and second which you don't check normal. Good luck!

Maybe you could name one May? Oh and Jessimew, that bunny that was in between the toxic berry bush (in the beginning) the bush next to it is actually a normal bush, hence why when it began raining you could hear the bunny stealing the berries. Just thought I should let you know.

Here's a tip: On every creature's last day of life, have them pick the poision berries. Seeing as they will be passing away overnight, nothing will change besides an increase in food. It's what I do when I'm in a food pinch.

For males: Rhyn, Zahler, Dylas, and Raiden. After you complete this challenge, I would LOVE to see an all blind tribe challenge or something along those lines.

everyone keeps saying to tear down the toxic bushes if someone is strong enough, but i recommend picking it dry then clearing it out if you do. when you tear the down you get 10 berries(more or less) no matter what, so youll be able to double your berry production. i did see someone on a previous vid say they dont grow back though so youd have to be careful? test it out on one or two bushes to see also on a different game some people i played with called food sacrifices snackrifices if you wanted a more light hearted name to call the berry pickers

A top on the bushes in scent mode: toxic berry bushes have more curved and slightly wider leaves, so when you go into scent mode, check for more dramatic curves.

I know this does not sound ideal, but possibly use a Nicheling as leech bait. You can either attack the leeches or pick them off in pairs, and it is a semi reliable source of food, although risky at best.

Mutating in the aesthetic genes for camouflage in this biome might be helpful, like the stripes and moss coloured fur would be useful for avoiding the Bearyena's detection :)

If you wanted.... Rhianna means Witch Queen or Great Goddess, borrowed from Welsh but has a Celtic origin. It was also the name of a Goddess of Fertility, as you stated the names most likely wont represent what the role of the animal will be but its food for thought. Alternatively its commonly used because of a Fleetwood Mac song [Rhiannon] its a great song, if you haven’t heard it already i would suggest listening to it :) Im sure lost of other people have submitted other wonderful names and if this name never ends up coming into play that wouldn’t offend me haha. I know this comment is late, but here's a tip that may be useful. If your food does get too low, maybe destroying one or two of the bushes? I did it with this challenge and it helped with food and nesting materials.

If you dont want to search out every single berry bush to find out if it is good or not just see in scent view if the leaves are not tilted downwards. If they are, then it is a Poison berry bush not a normal one

Bree2k1000 BB There's also the 50% Doomed challenge where you HAVE to use one of the slots for a random mutation. Or just completely randomize the mutations without a chance to "fix" any issues the nichelings may have. Either one of these could make any breeding go surprisingly well or horrifically wrong :P .
