And whats so "original" about taking someones already hit song and covering it ? You could catagorize all cover songs as being non original because, without the original artist who wrote this song 'in this case Heart", this video wouldnt even exist. Anyone with a tolerable voice can sing someone elses already hit song because the hard work "writing it and coming up with the music" has already been done, it doesnt take work at all if you can sing and read music. When these up and coming "Artists" start seeing their own songs getting air time and rising in the charts, ppl will do the same and cover their songs as well. But i dont see anyone covering these artists originals.

I have listened to a lot of covers in my day .. there are a few reasons why this cover is awesome. First, both artists here are obviously talented. Jake is obviously the producer, and he didn't try to make a carbon copy of Heart. While the backup instrumentals are added later, they are excellent. This is real professional work, and it is a shame if both of you aren't making a good living making music.
