Well now I know where you got your name.... The bells and whistles start going off when you recognize the truth of the Word. Most definitely, I say, "Ring Them Bells!" Thank you for your content. I stumbled onto Dr. Heiser after he'd already passed. It was odd to meet, fall in love with (his teachings), and grieve the loss of someone all at once. The work you are doing is precious and is coinciding with a political awakening that is heavily influenced by Christ. Satan is rearing his ugly head with long range missiles into Russia, trying to start the mother of all wars before we can stop it. It's terrifying, this evil. But we don't have to cower to it anymore. God is with us. Love God. Love yourself in a healthy way. Love your neighbor as yourself. And give God all the glory for His son, Jesus Christ, who has come to rescue us from ourselves. Thank you, God, for your mercy. I bless your holy name. ❤

@@maryherendeen2151 Absolutely. I know he was at peace. He had enough time and trust in God to prepare himself for what was coming. But for us who went through all of it ( meeting him through his teachings and losing him) all at once, somehow it feels that it's not time, just not yet to say goodbye.

Christ never said take other people's property and give it to others. That's not love nor charity. That's theft. Christ said for you to to give YOUR money to the poor; not steal others property, skim some off for yourself and pay people to vote for you.

If you're going to talk about the MIC (military industrial complex). Perhaps the audience should know that the state of Israel owns one of the fastest growing MICs in the world. As a matter of fact, since Israel's founding in 1948, it has received $158 billion in military aid from the United States, making it the greatest recipient in history. IF the church was to live up to its responsibility and feed the hungry and provide for the needy, we could solve the homelessness issue. Next to the MIC, comes the CIC (charitable industrial complex). It's a massive business, with approximately $316 billion given away in 2012 in the US alone with more than 9.4 million employed. How much does the Papacy receive? In its early history, the Church demanded confession, penance, pilgrimages, the adoration of saints, and the doctrine of transubstantiation. One such way was to extract enormous sums of money from parishes by granting pardon for penance in Purgatory. Augustine’s proclamation as a necessary evil resulted in over 100,000 prostitutes being employed by the Church, and their symbol of power was marvelous buildings such as Saint Peter’s Basilica in Rome, and he threatened to bankrupt the Church, unless new devices for raising money could be employed. Indulgences were granted for crimes that ranged from adultery to murder, and rendered the state powerless to prosecute the criminal. Here's a list of tariffs for various indulgences, established by Pope John XXII, and first published by Pope Leo X: $1.50 Procuring an abortion $1.75 Killing a layman $2.00 Forgery and lying $2.00 Ravishing a virgin $2.25 Robbing a church $2.25 Priest to keep a concubine $2.50 Murder of parents or siblings $2.75 Striking a priest $2.75 Eating meat in Lent $3.00 Robbery $12 Absolution of all crimes (what a bargain!) Popes Julius and Leo declared the Holy Wars to justify the mass slaughter of Jews in order to steal their money and possessions to finance the building of the Vatican. Pope Leo X revealed the truth of his convictions when he stated “how profitable the fable of Christ has been to us.”

Absolutely correct,@@MichaelDBiggs. I often wonder how we as "Christians" can not complete the things the early followers/believers were able to accomplish. We are indoctrinated by religious leaders that keep disqualifying most of us by our errors. I often ask, how was it that father Abraham was a righteous man when he existed 400+ years BEFORE the Law was given. Even he had his struggles and he's the only one considered as "a friend of God.' Shame of the leaders that have corrupted the word for their personal agendas.

Yet sometimes these neighborhoods have the worst problems with drugs homelessness etc. Makes you question what those churches are doing.

That's a man of God who is well known for his narration over animations in the Bible Project... I trust this dude as a teacher because he does not force anything nor try to assert authority or manipulate. As someone who has an anger problem and has grown up with people that manipulate, this man Mackie has a pure soul, who teaches the word because he loves God. These kind of people are a breath of fresh air to me. The fact that you literally have something against him, just straight up making things up in your head with a nasty attitude, shows me you are the opposite, and you have a problem. You need help, I stay away from people with attitudes that you have. Lacking love and mercy, with a critical and cynical eye. I hope you get help

I honestly have no clue what attitude you mean. The guy is sound and actually a really good teacher. I sometimes find a bit difficult to follow him, but once I do, he really brings some amazing insight and decent biblical teaching.
