Bishop Curry has a way to give a good sermon. We need to confront racism and injustice in our society; we can do it by following the commandment to "love thy neighbor as thyself" to follow in the footsteps of the Good Samaritan. Doing these will show that we can find justice for all. As Christians, we need to show God's light, His Spiritual love for all by doing all this.

God is Good all the time. I've always been a Good Samaritan, Humanitarian and a Good Neighbor wherever I lived. I've learned through work, home and workplace that diversity is a practice of heart and mind and how a person acts upon their decisions to treat each other respectfully with ethics, fairness, equitable rights and civility. I was there online Presiding Bishop Michael Curry when I first heard and saw your nomination for election of Presiding Bishop USA. Once heard I gathered my network, including AME African Methodist Episcopal Church and my influence that I could gather and said let's make this happen. I want you to know I got criticism that I promptly put aside because I saw a change a coming. The Holy Spirit change happened. Amen. From my tribulations of overcoming hate speech, hate groups, racism oppression and discrimination, I saw that I needed a change and God tapped me on the shoulder and sat me down and said, Gloria, you need a different path, closer to your Episcopalian beliefs and values. Episcopalian Prayers. Amen

Love encompasses all the other qualities because without LOVE you cannot forgive nor can you repent etc It is LOVE that brings your spirit to a place of humbleness and those who were responsible to enshrine their HATE through the laws of the land must learn to love so they can repent and to forgive themselves for the harm they have done to break so many lives and then to encourage "silence" and dare no one to speak of the recent ills. The Nation needs a forum of truth and justice and love and that the human spirit can be reconciled. The morality of life that we care for our brothers is still open for debate........

I remember going to school and learning about Martin Luther King in school and I was wondering why did the people done that I remember father Carmichael and us marching Down south park Ave he brought us together white and black together not to fight against each other Bishop Curry I don't know if you're remember me my name is Kim linden my mom Edith linden we use to do coffee hour make cakes for after service,I am so hurt that st Thomas Episcopal church close the doors of the church and I have.not gone to church at all dearly

They obviously didn't listen to the sermon nor do they follow the teachings taught therein. Ironically, Jesus never mentioned a color palate when He directed His followers to 'Love They Neighbor'.
