In John Chapter 6 Jesus repeats Himself 4 times culminating in verse 6:53, which proved to be a "hard" and difficult teaching to "shocked" Jewish followers. If you were in Jesus shoes would you not want to provide some form of "proof" to help illustrate you mean what you say? What does Jesus say within context of 6:62 that will get them and us to believe? Come to believe in the real presence and do not walk away from the TRUTH like those in John 6:66. Do you think that chapter and verse number is any coincidence? Do you think those who walked away from Jesus were saved?

One is taken and one is left, why ? I think, Jesus said about propability, fifty fifty, Jesus didn't say about the amount. Someone will be safed or not, depend on his/her response to God's calling to him/her, so it means fifty and fifty.
