MrGreyjeep yes, but so was the parable of the lost son, didn’t he found his way back into his father’s house, Judas found his way back when he repented and cried out and bursted, Judas was chosen for that purpose in order for the fulfillment of Christ’s death, so Judas was saved, he was the first of all the disciple to believed, it was Judas who Jesus loved, it was Judas who testified of Christ through the spirit of John.

Share Bright Light, even though Jesus spoke those words he had not die on the cross as yet, Judas was used for an example that when all is fulfilled with Jesus by him dying on the cross there is no excuse or justification for any man to deny or betray him, those words was spoken for all who betray Jesus after he died for the sins of the people, after his crucifixion we all shall know and learn his ways, his statues and his judgment so there is no excuse for not knowing to do good, that is why John the Baptist said “behold the lamb of God who taketh away the sins of the world.” (Sins of the world meaning the sins of the wicked) 2 Corinthians 5:19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.” When Christ was crucified all was saved but those who went backwards to continue in their wickedness it would be better for them if they was not born because they would be tormented and cast in the lake of hell, so that is why those words was spoken by Jesus and belief me Judas was tormented because he burst out.

It surprises me that so far no one has apparently bothered to simply ask the most basic of questions: Why would the Sanhedrin pay Judas such a princely sum... to point out someone they already KNEW well? Yes... you heard me right. In all THREE Synoptic Gospels, Jesus, Himself, points out to the arrest party that they had all SEEN Him teaching daily in the Temple... and had been WITH HIM as He taught (?!): "Jesus said to them, 'Have you come with swords and clubs to arrest me like you would an outlaw? DAY AFTER DAY I WAS WITH YOU, teaching in the temple courts, yet you did not arrest me.'" (Mark 14:48-49, Matt 26:55, Luke 22:53) Thus... They KNEW Him, already! Jesus RECOGNIZED them all... and knew THEY recognized Him. So....... what did it matter whether Judas was there or not to "kiss" Him and point Him out? And why would they pay Judas anything to do so? The simple Truth here is this: There was no "Judas Kiss"... there was no Judas "betrayal"... and there probably was no Judas, period. Instead... the Judas story was later concocted to HIDE the truth regarding those who really DID betray Jesus by testifying against Him at His trial before the Sanhedrin... to save their own skins. Wanna take a guess who those real betrayers were? Here's a hint: Peter wasn't seated with the guards outside Jesus's trial, unable to leave as people kept recognizing him, 'cuz they were all such great buddies. Think about it... take all the time you need. ;)

You see, in John 17:12 Gospel, John did not "directly" pinpoint to Judas Iscariot, ... why John did not directly say his name?... it reads (in part/paraphrased)... "I guarded/kept THEM, and none were lost except for the one, the Son of Perdition."... who are they?... "THEM" perhaps, did not "directly" pertains to the 12 Apostles only, perhaps Blessed Mary, Mary Magdalene, and others were also included as the one given to Him (Christ Jesus) by His Father?... The Bible also said that Christians (those who believe in Christ) are also given by God to Christ Jesus's Hands to KEPT/GUARD... When did Christ say those words (John 17:12),... "Before or After," Judas Iscariot killed himself? Actually, it was said BEFORE at the Last Supper... therefore, this means Judas Isacariot was already BOUND/PREDESTINED to do his Role/Part UNKNOWINGLY so that the Scripture might be fulfilled... in fact, Satan took control of Judas (possessed/went inside the body) according to the Bible, if he was already so Evil as a thief, why the need to possess his body?... does not make any sense at all... Evil possessing Evil?... Satan will give POWERS to the coming AntiChrist, but not to possess the AntiChrist because he is already Evil as a person... Logically, if the King already owned the land, the King does not need to conquer those lands, he just needs the POWER to rule the land... the same analogy... So in other words, "IT WAS ALL PLANNED OUT," even before Judas Iscariot was born... Christ Jesus MUST die for the Sin of Mankind (ransom) and somebody must take the role/part of BETRAYING Christ to fulfill the scripture, either Judas or somebody else... there must be a FALL GUY, so to speak so that the Scripture will be fulfilled... simple as that... unfortunately, it landed "UNKNOWINGLY" to Judas Iscariot, the Betrayal Role/Part... if not Judas, someone else will take his part/role... but the same scenarios or outcome... Since God is a FAIR GOD, Judas Iscariot might not be condemned by God in the Fires of Hell... I firmly believed Judas might be pardoned by God... why?... 1st, Judas Iscariot was "BOUND and PREDESTINED" to Betray Christ Jesus even before he was born. (John 17:12) 2nd, Judas Iscariot, unknowingly betrayed Christ for he was possessed by Satan "BEFORE" he betrayed Christ and sold for 30 pieces of silver. 3rd, after Satan left his body, Judas felt terrible REMORSE (part of repentance) and TRAUMA, which may cause temporary INSANITY that lead to taking his own life (suicide). Lastly, One of God's WILL, is that ALL (Human beings) might be Saved... Amen.

Our Eastern brothers are more kind and I will hope if I get to heaven (nothing is guaranteed) I see him there and he smiles and says "thanks for the prayers" We don't know all the conversations or exact conversations for sure. There is an article coming from Archbishop Paglia, saying, "For Catholics, who say that Judas is in hell, is a heresy." Vatican Official: It’s Heresy to say Judas is in Hell When Ab. Paglia stated "hell" it means the "real hell of the damned", the question is, was Judas really a damned soul and deserve to be put in real hell of the damned? Remember, when Judas died, he was not cast out in real hell of the damned but only in Hades or hell, a prison. Further reading of scriptures, we know that the Catholic Church teaches in Catechism (CCC 632k-635), that Jesus descended into hell/Hades to preach the gospel. Contemplating the passages, we will see, that Judas encounter Jesus in hell or Hades. The next important question is, if we place ourselves in the shoes of Judas, will we approach Jesus to ask for forgiveness, for betraying him? Judas certainly repented in Matthew 27:3-4, with perfect contrition, as he first acknowledge his sins, regretted his sins, and return the money, completing the acts of perfect contrition. Then Judas, his betrayer, seeing that Jesus had been condemned, deeply regretted what he had done. He returned the thirty pieces of silver* to the chief priests and elders, saying, “I have sinned in betraying innocent blood.” They said, “What is that to us? Look to it yourself.” Jesus descended into hell where Judas was cast out, to preach the gospel and to offer God's mercy, on all souls including Judas. Did Jesus have a saving plan for Judas, why? Because, Jesus was the one who pushes Judas to commit the sins of betrayal, how? Jesus said to Judas, What you are going to do, do quickly." (John 13:27) If Jesus commanded Judas to commit the sins of betrayal, knowing Judas will forever be torture in eternal hell, that would present a Jesus contradicting the Will of the Father, as the Father sent Jesus not to condemn but to save souls in John 3:17, and the Father desires all men be saved in 1 Timothy 2:4. If Jesus has no saving plan for Judas knowing he will be cast out into hell, then Jesus will contradict His very own words, as He said, "I lay down my life for my friends", and Judas was a friend of Jesus, even after his betrayal. On the night of his arrest, Jesus called Judas "friend" despite of his acts of betrayal, and so, Jesus lay down His life also to save Judas, because He still a friend of Jesus.

Judas was chosen. Just like everyone of us whether we know it not. Judas may well have been the very first believer to meet Jesus between the time he died and rose again. They had both died at the same time. I find it hard to believe Jesus didn’t reach out to him in death. Don’t underestimate the love of God and it’s redeeming power. He will never leave us or forsake us no matter what mistake we might make. Judas had no idea what the religious Pharisee were going to do with Jesus when he disclosed where he was. That all got determined after the fact. Claiming Judas’s betrayal killed Jesus is false. The religious were responsible for his death. No one else. Judas is alive and well and loved by god just like you and I. If you want to point the bone, why don’t you point it at the Pharisees. Judas made a bad mistake. To say it the biggest betrayal of all time is ludicrous. The greatest betrayal was made by those who hung him up. And on and on it goes. The religious hang everyone else up but themselves. At least judas could do that when he realised the consequences of his action. Condemning others to damnation is a greater betrayal of God. They are his children

Maybe it was Gods plan for Judas to off himself, maybe he was a sheep being used by God to fulfill scripture and didn't want him tortured for thr remainder of his life. Beloved lets consider a parallel. Israel began with the Twelve and “expanded” with the twelve. One of the original twelve, Joseph, had a vision and etc. (u know the story) they threw him in the well. Jacob’s love that was embedded in the hearts of the boys, specifically Rueben, stood up to save Joseph and potentially the whole family. So not one was lost. In retrospect we understand each brother represented a nation. Had Joseph died 1/12 of all of Israel wouldnt be here and arguably all of Israel would not have been here because of the drought. Then we have the twelve disciples. You mean to tell me that no one sensed the spirit of suicide and interjected. No one had the power to attack the devil that took over Judas. It rises a serious theological statement. Yes Judas was chosen but was Judas ever given to Jesus by God as Jesus infamously said that not one of the ones the Father gave him would be lost. What happen to the one and the 99. This question challenged many ppl through antiquity and even inspire gnostic writings and apologetics to “correct” the storyline. Please sound your opinion. Maybe Im thinking to hard. Can the message of love be propagated with the concept of exclusion

Jesus forgave him because he knew the man was truely repeant of his sins and accepted his faith. Judas on the other hand was only repanted because he knew he would burn in the fires of hell. Judas committed the unpardonable sin. Blaspheme against the Holy Ghost. There is no way he could have been forgiven. Read Matthew 26:24 and Acts 1: 15-20. You can know all about a person and not know the person. In order to know a person you have to have a relationship. The Bible says Satan entered Judas. Luke 22:3 We know what does darkness have in common with light? Nothing.

Saying Judas was an apostle is basically teaching that you can loose your Salvation. Saying judas was a saved is basically Saying you can loose your Salvation. Judas was not a true believer. Judas was called for a different purpose. He wasn't a believer. Judas was called to fulfill prophecy. Judas is known as the Son of perdition. Judas is known as unclean. Judas is known as a devil . Judas is a traitor, and was prophesied to be a traitor. Judas had a chance to believe, but he didn't believe. It is written. ◄ Psalm 41:9 the prophecy New International Version Even my close friend, someone I trusted, one who shared my bread, has turned against me. ◄ Matthew 26:23 ► the prophecy fulfilled New International Version Jesus replied, “The one who has dipped his hand into the bowl with me will betray me. ◄ John 13:18 ► the prophecy fulfilled New International Version “I am not referring to all of you; I know those I have chosen. But this is to fulfill this passage of Scripture: ‘He who shared my bread has turned against me.’ ◄ John 13:10 ► New International Version Jesus answered, “Those who have had a bath need only to wash their feet; their whole body is clean. And you are clean, (though not every one of you.”) ◄ John 13:11 ► New International Version For he knew who was going to betray him, and that was why he said (not every one was clean.) ◄ John 6:70 ► New International Version Then Jesus replied, (Have I not chosen you), the Twelve? YET ONE OF YOU IS A DEVIL!” ◄ Matthew 26:24 ► New International Version The Son of Man will go just as it is written about him.( But woe to that man who betrays the Son of Man!) It would be better for him if he had not been born.” Saying it would have been better if he had never been born , Is like saying he is not going to be in HEAVEN. Or how ever you want to put it. WHEN JUDAS WAS SUPPOSED TO BE SHARING THE GOSPEL, CASTING OUT DEMONS, AND HEALING THE SICK. HE WAS GETTING HIS HUSTLE ON.↙️ 14Then one of the Twelve-the one called Judas Iscariot-went to the chief priests 15and asked, “WHAT ARE YOU WILLING TO GIVE ME IF I DELIVER HIM OVER TO YOU?” So they counted out for him thirty pieces of silver. 16From then on Judas watched for an opportunity to hand him over. Yes, I agree that Judas was a disciple of Christ, but so we're many . English Standard Version john 6:64 But there are some of you who do not believe.” (For Jesus knew from the beginning who those were who did not believe, and who it was who would betray him.) English Standard Version JOHN 6:65 And he said, “This is why I told you that no one can come to me unless it is granted him by the Father.” English Standard Version JOHN 6:66 After this many of (HIS DISCIPLES) turned back and no longer walked with him. MANY OF HIS DISCIPLES FELL AWAY. A true believer is saved for all eternity. TRUE BELIEVERS DO NOT TURN BACK. N I V, THE FATHER'S HAND. 1 My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; NO ONE CAN SNATCH THEM OUT OF MY FATHER’S ’s HAND. KJ V THE SON'S HAND. 2 I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, NEITHER SHALL ANY MAN PLUCK THEM OUT OF MY HAND K J V THE HOLYSPIRIT'S TEMPLE 3 What? know ye not THAT YOUR BODY IS THE TEMPLE OF THE HOLY GHOST WHICH IS IN YOU, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? ( TRIPLE SECURITY, ) ( TRIUNE SECURITY, ) ONCE SAVED ALWAYS SAVED. King James Bible For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's. The true believer will truly believe. The one who stops believing never TRULY believed. ACTS 16:29 Then he called for a light, and sprang in, and came trembling, and fell down before Paul and Silas, And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved? AND THEY SAID, BELIEVE ON THE LORD JESUS CHRIST, AND THOU SHALT BE SAVED, King James Bible For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: King James Bible Not of works, lest any man should boast. The bible clearly talks about 1.(ENDURANCE ) King James Bible But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. The bible clearly talks about 2.(Continuing to believe) New Living Translation It is this Good News that saves you if you continue to believe the message I told you-unless, of course, you believed something that was never true in the first place. The bible clearly talks about 3.(Perseverance) New International Version You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised. CONTINUING TO BELIEVE ENDURANCE, AND PERSEVERANCE. How BY OUR STREGNTH OR BY GOD'S STREGNTH . IF IT IS BY OUR STREGNTH IT IS A WORKS DOCTRINE. IF BY GOD'S STREGNTH IT IS BECAUSE HE IS THE SAVIOR. Yes the TRUE believer will do these THINGS BUT NOT TO STAY SAVED BUT BECAUSE HE IS SAVED THE TRUE BELIEVER IS SECURE IN WHAT CHRIST HAS DONE FOR HIM, THOMAS ALSO GETS SENT OUT TO DO THE WORKS, BUT AFTER THE RESURRECTION HE CLEARLY STATED THAT HE DIDN'T BELIEVE. THOMAS DOUBTED EVER SINCE THE BEGINNING, The only DIFFERENCE IS THOMAS CAME TO THE FAITH, HE BELIEVED. English Standard Version john 17:12 While I was with them, I kept them in your name, which you have given me. I have guarded them, and not one of them has been lost except the son of destruction, that the Scripture might be fulfilled.

Isn't there a "Judas" in all of us? Can we really condemn Judas for what he did? He tried to anticipate the kingdom of God as a zealot. Did Jesus ever condemn anyone except for the Pharisees and the priests in the temple who thought that they were good people and yet who did really condemn Jesus? Who changed their beliefs and said that they were one with Pontius Pilate? They Sanhedrin become one with Pontius Pilate on this issue and they became friends in order to condemn Jesus. The truth in my opinion: there were many betrayals on different levels from that of Judas, to that of Peter, to that of the disciples (his inner circle) to a more widespread circle (those who represented the law: Pontius Pilate, the Pharisees and the Scribes, the Sanhedrin and remember Herod. Interestingly he succeeded to kill Jesus after all? Wasn't it his proclaimed mission from the beginning? Wasn't it his goal after all? He already killed John the Baptist so Jesus offered him a chance to repent yet he did nothing after seeing that Jesus remained silent. It is a mass betrayal in which we all took part in some way or another so the condemnation of the betrayal falls on all of us as humans we are frail and subject to sin.

ConEnigma - ... Acts 1:20 For it is written in the book of Psalms, Let his habitation be desolate, and let no man dwell therein: and HIS BISHOPRIC let another take. Acts 1:25 That he may take part of this MINISTRY AND APOSTLESHIP, from which Judas by transgression FELL, that he might go to his own place. Judas was most definitely saved. He fell from ministry, bishopric and APOSTLESHIP. You can't fall away from something that you were never in! Once saved always saved is a delusion and wishful thinking.

If he wasn't saved then Jesus damned him to hell. He chose Judas to betray him because he knew he would. If you read the scriptures carefully, yes Jesus says Judas was a devil but in each instance where he betrayed the saviour, it says the devil entered into him. Only God can allow the devil to enter into someone. At the last supper Jesus says whoever I give this sop to will betray me, and he gave it to Judas, and said: That what you came to do, do it quickly and it says at that moment the devil entered into Judas. It was at that very pivotal moment that Jesus said the scriptures had been fulfilled. Jesus even knew Judas would commit suicide afterward. You can't deny that if Judas was not picked by Jesus then he would not have had to play the role of betrayer. I would hope Jesus forgave Judas, otherwise Jesus it seems damned Judas to hell and he never had any choice in the matter of redemption.

You've been deceive for 3000 years. Judas did not betray jesus. At the last Supper Jesus was with his chosen 12 disciples. At the request of Jesus the young disciple expressed willingness to die for Jesus. In the darkenss of the night the Romans came to arrest Jesus, but they did not know what Jesus looked like. Judas who Jesus chose and most trusted and loved, approached the Young dsiciple and kissed him and addressed him as master, fooling the Romans that it was Jesus. In the middle of the night the Rmans beleiving that they had Jesus, the young disciple was crucified. It is not true as depicted in hollywood movies that Jesus or rather the young disciple carried his cross through the street watched by the crowed. The reason is that even the closest to Jesus when they heard the roumer they were too late, the person who is alleged to be Jesus was already crucufied. Jesus was not crucified. If you are to believe the narrative that Judas kissed Jesus to expose Jesus' identity to the romans, you would be an insult to the disciples intellegence, and our intellegence.
