Excellent video. Thank God for his grace and mercy that He has shown to us through His Son Jesus Christ! It is by grace through faith that we are saved, not through any works of our own.

I'm looking to be Baptized for the first time, I'm 31 and never been baptized. Thank you for sharing and God bless, your channel helps.

That's awesome! I was baptized when I was 35. My brother, when he was baptizing me, said: "today, angels in heaven are rejoicing." I did not know it back then that it was words of Jesus Christ, teaching His parable about the lost sheep that have been found. I am thankful to the Lord, for finding me and for finding everyone He has chosen to find. God bless brother, I am glad and grateful to hear this!

@@FirearmsofAmerica the issue I come across is I do not know where to get Baptized as I'm not apart of any church. I don't want to just walk into any church and request to be baptized because I want to first make sure they're not following or preaching false doctrine. I have to make sure it's an actual follower of Christ to baptize me.

@@FirearmsofAmericayou seem very wise in your faith, so it's cool that you're baptized later. Makes me feel better that I wasn't baptized sooner, but when Jesus sees fit I will be!

@@Ufos4dahoes Yea, same here! I might have talked to four or five different pastors, and gotten the same response, basically to come to their church first, to have conversation with them to see if I am ready, and then get baptized in their church pool, or bathtub or whatever that is. But the thing is, if I am ready to get baptized in the name of Jesus Christ, then who is anyone to test my faith? Why is it necessarily a specific building that I need to be baptized in? And why do I have to agree to that specific church doctrines before I get baptized? Since when did the acceptance of Jesus Christ become conditional? All my childhood I was "asked" to compromise on my faith, pretending to follow a certain religion, participate in traditional ceremonies that I neither believed in nor understood. And realizing that it was Jesus protecting me from all of this, and guiding me away from it, I could not compromise the same way I did before. And yea, one day, He put a good brother into my life, who I looked up to and still looking up to for his kindness, generosity and absence of pride, all in the name of Jesus Christ. He was not a pastor and said that he can't baptize me in a church, so I suggested a river. Many of my friends were able to come, most of them don't even go to Sunday churches, but I know that they did not have doubts about my faith and we all were strengthened in Spirit that day.

@@FirearmsofAmericathat is a beautiful story, I apologize for such a late reply. That is pretty much how I feel, I was always treated badly at the few churches I went to as a kid. Instead of understanding I was just a rebellious kid, they just attacked me for it. I never stole, broke anything, or lied to anyone. It was just all small town gossip. Which is a shame because they drove me away from Christ in my early childhood/teenage years.

You’re on the right track, ask the Lord for truth and you will find it. Ephesians 4:11 And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, 12 for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the [e]edifying of the body of Christ. Not all Pastors are in truth but they were given work to enforce. I didn’t grow up Christian but after many years I found it! Acts 2:38 read it all, there’s more to it. All the Apostles and Paul were baptized in Jesus name hence Peter who was given the keys. Paul even rebaptized some in Acts because they were under John’s Baptism. The book of Acts didn’t end then, we’re living it still. Seek the truth and you will find. No disrespect, God Bless!

No disrespect taken brother, and no respect expected either. For some, their faith is strengthened through the acts of the apostles, for some, through the repentance of Paul. All that, of course, just like everything else is part of God's plan. And just like Simon Peter who walked with Jesus and heard His words, to later deny Him, to later give up his life for Him, there were and are those who never walked with Jesus or seen Him, but believed in Him when they heard the Good News. The Truth is Jesus, who is the Christ, and there is no other truth that is greater that exist, but rather, everything else that exist is to point towards the one Truth.

@@FirearmsofAmerica absolutely and that’s what the Apostles did after their mistakes hence Peter, Paul ( persecuted Christians). And that was their purpose to glory our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! But like buying a car, we need to preach the whole Gospel not just pick and choose what he think. Many so called Christians Sugar coat the word but don’t preach the whole Gospel. May God use you and reveal you all his word in Jesus Name! Amen

@@FirearmsofAmericaI was just about to go see season 4 in my local theater and I see now it's not in any of the theaters nearby. Which means soon it will be coming out, I'm very excited.
